As I was walking through the QA department a few minutes ago, I saw a box of soft clay laying next to the CMM. They use it to temporarily hold some parts onto the table when measuring them with the probe. It's an extremely light operation, so they don't bolt the parts to the table unless they absolutely have to. They'll just mash the part onto a few blobs of clay and it stays in place solidly enough to measure things.
It's Sculpey Easy Bake Oven Clay.

How long can I stand SOME people that seem to have my name on their buttons.
Yeah, but I am sick of these people preventing me from posting in threads that I would like to, because the owner snarks at me, edits the snark, then acts all nice like nothing happend. I saw it, folks. I hope the mods are seeing it, too. This is becoming ridiculous. I have seen my name and behavior ridiculed on other boards, too. Don't think this is a mirage or dream.
I have only reported one poster. And that was largely because he trashed me in my birthday thread. Believe me, I did not need that. I was packing up my home and sitting there needing a friend. The posts got deleted. (thanks mods) He was horrible and I was desperate for help. I cried for two days (during my birthday!).
Don't tell me that crap about "internet friends can't hurt you". Shut up. They can, too.
I am not so discriminate anymore. Don't do that to me again, guy.
I have to see WHO started the thread, and WHO was the last poster before I can say anything. I have to see WHO is in chat before I can join.
So, yes, the boards affect me. A lot
