I think he'll end up with Ana-Lucia. The Ask Ausiello interview said her love relationship would be with someone we wouldn't expect. I think the person I least suspect is either Desmond or Hurley. And Desmond seems to be the best candidate (as I have other plans for Hurley! Mwahaha!).

Is Des in another Hatch? Did he go where the food comes from? Sawyer must hook up with Ana Lucia, freeing Kate to be with Jack. Des could end up with the psychologist, whatsername.

Who is Ask Ausiello and why should we believe anything he says?

I have discussed in the past the idea that Des might take comfort in the arms of the only woman on the island who can truely relate to his mental state: Danielle.

Basically, they are both nuts.

I hope he ends up with Ana-Lucia too-that would be sweet. They're both freaks-so they have that much in common. And if we were lucky the two of them would run off and disappear together.:p

Everbody on the island needs to get some, and then get some more.

The only ones not endlessly walking around frustrated and taking it out on whosever in proximity are now Jin and Sun.

Considering how long Danielle and Desi have been isolated, I think they are doing OK considering the deprivation they've been through. I don't know that I'd match them up though, could be too combustive.

Maybe Desmond and Jack need to climb Brokeback Mountain.

Did I say "nuts"? In retrospect, I feel that nuts is too mild a word. 16 years on the island with no company for her, 3 years pushing buttons in the bunker and wishing he had the power not to for him. If Libby decided to hang out a shingle these two will make her rethink her cereer options.

In other words, Des and Danielle are a perfect match. She probably has another lair set up and they could make it a perfect little neurotically co-dependent love nest.
