I posted this on the Ep 8 thread but that's about to be history...thought you all might enjoy it so I thought I'd post it here too...true story.


I'm a painting contractor, looked at a new job today and the homeowner had two year old twin boys.

Me: They're so cute! What are their names?

Her: Nathan and Ethan

Me: Really? Have any others? (grinning at my clever joke)

Her: Um, no. why are you smiling?

Me: Do you watch "Lost"?

Her: No, why? It's about castaways,right?

Me: Yes. Well, two characters on the show are named Nathan and Ethan.

Her: Cool, I'll have to watch it.

Me: Well they're not on anymore.

Her: Oh, why not?

Me: (thinking...) (one was shot 5 times in the chest and the other had his neck broken like a chicken after being in a pit for days with no food except a banana because he took a 2 hour dump)............


Me: (out loud)........................ They were rescued.




Whew.
