This thread is being maintained for research and archives, but is locked to further posting. Anyone looking for further discussion of OWA should continue at VM's OWA forum.

The earlier announcement was that flight information would be available

Oceanicworldair.com Links still don't work for me either. Searching for flights just opens a blank window (and yes I've tried the tricks to make something appear like Ctrl-A), BUT....
The Globespotter thing was NOT there yesterday. GOOD CATCH LockeisKey!!! There is an article at the bottom of the page about an Oceanic plane crashing into the ocean remniscant of Flight 815 in 2004. Vince Madison said there was no way it was an Oceanic plane, all of theirs are accounted for. The "witnesses" were wrong. He said.
Whatever this all means remains to be seen.
Just got home from work, HAD to add to this - MORE LATER for sure!!

If you enter the oceanicworldair.com website and click on search it brings up a listing of flights. This pages show the days the flight operates on. Look at the first flight. Click on the underlined x on that row. It takes you to, of all things, the dharma initiative website.....which I have always believed to be a fake site, since no one has been able to find the password necessary to enter it. I know, I know....this site has been discussed ad nauseum. But, once you arrive at this site, place your cursor over the IA at the top. Then press ctrl and A. It brings up an interesting message. Now, the question becomes, is the oceanicworldair.com website a fake or is it legitimate? If it is legit, then wouldn't that likely mean the dharma initiative is also legit, since the one site links to the other? Thoughts?

There has never been a confirmation that the new "oceanicworldair" site is "real" or affiliated with ABC/LOST (are you thinking of oceanic-air, or oceaniflight815? - those are sites that are affiliated with ABC) - that is kind of what we have been discussing in this thread, if "oceanicworldair" and "mr. clucks" are ABC/LOST sites or if they are just enthusiastic fan-based sites.

Now that you are telling us it leads to the dharma site, I'm really thinking it is a fan site, not official. It's still fun though!

I've tried oceanicworldair.com AND www.oceanicworldair.com (http://www.oceanicworldair.com) and neither of them will let me see any type of flight info. I have all the latest Flash crap, so if there's something there, why can't I see it? (Grumble - :boggled: )

On a more positive note, there is another change to mrclucks.com links, nothing major, but a change is a change and I'm gonna note it here.
A Sixth option has appeared in mrclucks.com/links: Seacrest Out. It looks like some sort of iTunes link, but I don't have iTunes so the quest ended there.
Still digging....even if it's not "official" it's still fun, and who knows, maybe, just maybe it'll all pay off in the end.

Ok if you go to the flight schedule of Oceanic (http://oceanicworldair.com/flights.htm) there is an X Under Wed for flight 518 from LOS to NVK (departs at 8:15 and arrives at 5:18). Click on the X and you go to a page that says the flight is full-no seats available. If you watch just below this you will see what appears to be the dharma logo that flashes every so often.

The paper also has a story about a head on car vs. bus accident and a Sydney terrorist plot.

Reports of an Oceanic Air jumbo jet crashing in the South Pacific this morning brings back memories of the loss of Oceanic Flight 815 in September 2004. Fishermen in the vicinity of Funafuti, in the Tuvalu islands north of Fiji reported witnessing an Oceanic jumbo jet in apparent trouble and crashing into the ocean. Witnesses say the jet was an Oceanic Airliner and flying too low and was in obvious trouble. Vincent Madison, Director of Corporate Communications for Oceanic World Air (http://oceanicworldair.com) was reached for comment this morning in Los Angeles and expressed great concern, however stated; "Oceanic World Air is scheduled to start flying on Wednesday November 23rd on the Sydney to Los Angeles route. We have been flying some non-scheduled repositioning flights, however all of our aircraft are accounted for. We are at a loss to explain how the witness identified the airplane as an Oceanic flight. We can only assume that they are mistaken. It is difficult to identify aircraft under normal circumstances and it is likely that is what happened." To further throw mystery on the situation however, Sydney Air Traffic Control reports all aircraft in the area are accounted for and there are none missing. What did crash into the sea north of Fiji this morning? Investigators are on their way to the area to talk further to witnesses and look for wreckage and survivors.

No matter what the outcome, the timing could not be worse for Oceanic, who are planning their first scheduled Sydney to Los Angeles flight on Wednesday. People are still nervous about flying in general and in . . . Continued on Page 17

- I still can't get anything in the Search Flights window - :confused:

- The Sydney Herald that was on Globespotter.com yesterday is now on the Oceanic front page, and you can save it now. I've heard that the paper is legit except for the Oceanic article.

- and this is bothering me, so any feedback would be appreciated;
Observation: It occurs to us that there is a really obvious reason why young people vanish from TV shows from time to time that we have not seen posted anywhere. Any takers? - Correct answer from Alison - way to go and Go UCDAVIS! This is on their frontpage too. Who is Alison? and where did the people running oceanic find her answer? And what was the answer? And why the reference to UCDavis? Is there a board these folks check, or do they look at em all? Or are they just making it up as they go along? Who knows.

Truff - regarding the oceanicworldair.com site ... in the SEARCH for flights area are you trying to find something specific?? just simply click the button that says SEARCH - the same info always pops up on the screen (shortcut to page: http://oceanicworldair.com/flights.htm) - there are 2 active X's on the page - one near the top - the other closer to the bottom ... they are the only 2 X's underlined... other than that there is nothing there ... no huge flight database to search ... Hope that is not what you were expecting ...

1. This is in response to the referenced letter from the Department of Defense requiring immediate suspension and discontinuation of all investigations into the crash of US bound Oceanic flight 815. As stated in reference, due to ongoing classified practices occurring in the suspected crash location, the DOD has denied access citing "National Security". At this time we have suspended all investigations.
2. Defense contractor, HANSO, currently working in the restricted area will continue the investigation and forward all unclassified information to the FAA. Before departing Fiji, any and all documents pertaining to the investigation will be handed over to the aforesaid contractor.
3. As of now, the cause of the failure leading to the crash of 815 is unknown. Mechanical records do not indicate any known problems with the aircraft. The 815 airplane had less than 23,000 hours flying time, the other under 42,000 hours. A weather anomaly in the area when radio and radar contact were lost is the most likely cause of complications leading to the event.
4. In view of the circumstances listed above, we consider that no further investigative be required by the FAA, excepting further information from the DOD. The cause of the incident of OA 815 should be determined as UNKNOWN and all case files closed and sealed.

for more info on the FAA letter check out the QUESTIONS page over at Sledge's site ... www.lost.cubit.net (http://www.lost.cubit.net) - you may have to use the more questions link - but he too has the FAA letter as an easter egg on his site ... it did have an "official" start at one point in all this - and oddly some of the names used in it are real FAA folks when you check the FAA site's employee list search ...

As near as I can tell (half blind right about now), its a report on the plane. Left from Sydney, going to LA, how old the plane was, various technical specs.

It's probably the paragraph on the bottom that has the juicy bits.

As of now I only have 2 images to work with, the original, and Dr.A's.
Dr.A's, as still blurry as it may be, was alot easier to work with. I (somehow, with a friend at my side) resized the orig to Dr.A's, and put the one on top of the other in hopes of getting better lines, and it sorta worked. But Dr.A's was still easier to try to rip apart what this says.

DISCLAIMER: Most of this will NOT make sense, I'm lookin for corrections. I am just trying to show the letter formations I see. This is an effort to get it right before they upload the unblurred document (and you know they will eventually). Any help is appreciated on working out this "FAKE" document.

as we discussed yesterday, one takes you to the dharmainitiative log-in page, which no one can get into.

one takes you to a flight that is full

the new one takes you to the above memo.....a supposed correspondence between the FAA that discusses a classified HANSO defense project ongoing on craphole island.

Has this appeared somewhere else....it looked familiar to me but I can't place it.

I hated to start a new thread for this, but couln't for some reason find a specific oceanicworldair.com thread.

We discussed it yesterday in a dharmainitiative thread.....anyway, it is likely that the new oceanicworldair.com site is a fan fake.....but I thought some of you might be interested to see this link.

Since there is no official place for this info, and since this was the "fake" site that started the linking and the webmaze, All info concerning oceanicworldair, globespotter, pb-sales, and dharma sites that I gather will be posted in this thread from here on out. I will link to this thread in any other threads started on these topics if I feel yal need to check my research out here.

I tried to go back and edit it out, but I couldn't figure out how to get rid of it, so...

Just a quick update, I found something in the False Miami Dolphins Draft for 2004:
4(19)SEEthan Goodwin23/4225/400/036/3735/350/00/00/00/0

Each of the categories is supposed to represent a year, what statistic it doesn't say. But I think we are supposed to see ETHAN GOODWIN 23/42.
Gonna look some more, but I have a feeling that's all I'm gonna find.

ETA - I see that happywhale already discovered this a few days ago in "Guys" Forum, just wanted to put it in this thread too.

Are you using the same browser at work and at home? Same version? Have you tried updating your browser? Do you have any pop-up blockers turned on at home?

These are probably things you have already thought about...but since you asked I thought I'd throw them out there...just trying to help.

Hi all,
Something weird I noticed on that draft page, for what it's worth, under the list of teams on top there is no longer a Green Bay Packers, but there is a Sioux Falls (SD) Wigs team. Kinda ridiculous team name. Also if you notice the page shows all drafts up until 2012, so perhaps they are hinting that the Packers moved to Sioux Falls. Just thought I'd mention it.:)

Nice catch truffula, I didn't notice they had the draft end on December 21. Didn't the tag on Jack's luggage have the date 21?
Plus, December is the heart of football season. The draft is in the summer. are they insinuating some kind of seasonal shift has happened?

Reading way to much into this one. The draft occurs in December because this is a simulated fantasy league. The league probably uses Madden Football or some other video game to simulate games. The video game makes up names of players. If you search around their site a little you can find that in previous seasons there were some players from today's real NFL that won awards and all. They play 3 "games" per week so it doesn't take long for them to complete a season.

Truff, this is all very interesting and it took someone a considerable amount of time to put this together. So, a 747-400 (tail numner ID n518O8) was lost on November 16, 2000 enroute from Sydney to Los Angeles. The other paper indicates that reports of another airplane crashing in the Pacific Ocean bring back memories of Flight 815, which purportedly crashed in September 2004.

This, then, implies 3 different airliners having crashed in the Pacific Ocean near Fiji.

The first in 2000, Flight 815 in 2004, and then some later crash.

This last airliner was reported flying too low before crashing into the ocean, and Sydney ATC says no aircraft are reported missing....oceanic confirms this must be some sort of mistake.

As oceanicworldair.com is getting ready to go "online" tomorrow, I notice mrclucks is also updated. It looks like they flash the MANIFEST!!! Full with seat assignments and all.
I have no clue how to manipulate the flash gif, so if anyone can get it, and post it here, it'd be much appreciated.

I think the point of it is, Ethan Goodwin is a #4 draft pick, and it is very weird that the Packers are the only real team left out and Sioux Falls S.D. has a team called the Wigs!!
BUT, here is something interesting for you. In researching Sioux Falls S.D. I found this.
"The EROS complex was completed in 1974 to receive and interpret information from earth satellites." I believe there was some discussion about a satellite that sends readings every 108 minutes or something to that effect. So perhaps this is where it ties in. Also, EROS=ROSE if that means anything.

This is not yet a theory and it is based on "information" provided in the Oceanicworld air.com website. If it does turn out to be someone who was at one time a writer for the show, it still might provide some insight....and then again, it might be totally bogus......but either way, someone took a considerable amount of time with the "cookies" they have provided us with. I know that many of you have seen this already, but there are new ones. I am going to take a shot at putting them in context.

1. The underlined X for Flight 518 indicates, when you click on it, that no seats are available. I will explain why later.

2. The underlined 1 for Flight 164 indicates, when you click on it, an apparently blank page. Move your cursor to the upper left hand corner and an eyeball appears. Continue to move your cursor over the eye and it will flash the message Eko Is.

3. The underlined X for Flight 415 indicates, when clicked on, the now famous memo concerning the crash of flight 815 and the fact that HANSO, a defense contractor, will be handling any further investigations concerning the disaster.

4. The underlined 1 for Flight 415, when clicked on, shows the memo concerning the crash of an Oceanic 747-400 (different type airplane than the 815 airplane) on November 16, 2000. The Tail Number of this aircraft is N518OA. This flight was not commercial (a repositioning flight) and thus if you go back to my item number 1 above, you see why NO SEATS WERE AVAILABLE.

A missing split pin caused the crash of another Sea King helicopter on the Indonesian Island of Nias (?). The article concludes that one of the aircrew who was supposed to fly is under psychological assessment.

So, to summarize:

In November 2000, a repositioning flight (747-400) crashed into the Pacific Ocean near Fiji. Only crew is onboard, airplane completely lost.

In September 2004, Oceanic Air Flight 815 crashes into the Pacific Ocean. All passengers presumed dead, no wreckage found.

2005, witnesses report seeing an Oceanic World Air airliner crashing into the Pacific Ocean near Fiji. Oceanic World Air has been operating repositioning flights but reports all aircraft accounted for. Sydney ATC confirms no missing aircraft.

Wow See You, very interesting information. I went to the website and checked out what you had to say, although I do not have any answers, I do have something interesting I did notice. When you look at the search part of the page, you can choose the destinations for flights you would like to search for. One of the departure, and destination names is EKO. Does this have anything to do with our Mr. Eko?

Bekka, let me explain why I posted this as I did. There has been considerable confusion between the two sites: the known official oceaniair.com site and the unknown if official oceanicworldair.com site.

Also, since it has been discussed in the dharmainitiative.org thread........it gets confusing for folks.

I posted it as a new thread because the oceanicworldair.com has new updates.......and I had hoped that someone could figure out a way to merge ALL pertinent information into one thread.

I would be the last to want to start a redundant thread.....but I have to say it is getting harder and harder to determine what is actually redundant....because things are being discussed in so many different threads that I believe people are missing pertinent information (which is spread all over the place). I didn't want to add to this so thanks for merging the threads.:p

Bekka - once again, I LOVE this new merging threads feature!! Just a suggestion here, perhaps we can merge the threads about the "fake" websites (ie oceanicworldair, mrclucks, dharmainitiative, etc) into one big thread and put a sticky on it. I know it's probably not that easy to merge the threads with post date/time and order of posts for continuity of discussions, but I just thought I'd throw it out there.

I think your Eko glass eye theory is interesting. There were glass eyes for supplies in the hatch, right? Wasn't Eko supposed to be taken because he is "good"? In that screencap of him beating sawyer, his right eye isn't looking anywhere near where his left eye is. I have a friend with a glass eye and his fake eye does this too. It can move a slight amount but never fully where the other eye is looking. Apparently you can have surgery done to get it to move better, though.

On that same flight schedule page, the last two flights are between EKO and FUN.

Yes, perhaps another crash and cover-up....plus the opportunity of presenting us with survivors (flight crew) of the November 2000 crash. I suspect this site is fake.....but I do really love the concept of recurring crashes.....you know, some anomaly (natural or man-made) beyond our imaginations (because we haven't been presented a rational explanation) that causes these crashes to occur in such a way that there are survivors. I, for one, prefer the science fiction and pseudo-science explanation over the supernatural (Walt powers and Claire "monster" baby) angle.

Right now, my initial reaction is that the fishermen a year later may have witnessed some staging of the crash of Oceanic 815. Check out this theory (http://www.4815162342.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3377) by a poster on 4815162342.com. Perhaps Dharma knocked them out in 2004, kept them in stasis or cryo-sleep for a year while the search died down, staged the crash in 2005, then woke up our lostaways. Certainly would explain TPTB's cryptic comment re:
when the plane crashed.

I'm sure the glass eye theory could be quickly put to rest by observing eko's eyes more closely in the 48 days episode. That's something you'd want to cast for, unless there's some hollywood magic, so if eko's actor has two real eyes that puts that thought to rest also.

Yes, correct. But Truffula (I think) found information where he states that he isn't affiliated with the show any longer....but was in fact a writer for the show at one point. He indicates that he is providing us with clues basically for the fun of it. I agree to skepticism about this, but who knows? If he is a total hoaxer, then he sure has a lot of time on his hands. It looks awfully authentic......lot of work.

the image of Kate mentioned a few posts back - one of the things that intrigues me is the time mentioned on the fax. This fax was obviously sent to the marshall guy hunting Kate, but it has originated from the GMT timezone (i.e. not GMT+1 or GMT-6 - just straight ol GMT) which implies that kate has done something dodgy either in the UK, the western parts of france, or the western parts of africa...

probably not terribly important, but worth noting anyway

I really feel that this is not only a possibility, but perhaps that way the story is leading up to in the future (of the show). Here is what I mean,
case in point 1 > The Nigerian plane found in S1E19 Deus Ex Machina. That plane was brought down, IMO, and was in tact, unlike the Oceanic flight 815. Smaller planes probably are easier to just land than break up IF these planes are being brought down by another force, i.e. the geothermal magnet (if this is the true source of how the airline came down)
case in point 2> We have now seen 2 hatches on the island, with the possibility of maybe seeing 4 more (if the Orientation video is the clue by saying -The Swan 3 of 6 videos). Alvar Hanso could be staging the crashes to further his experiments on life prolongment and each "airline crash" could be part of the whole experiment. IF this island is not mapped out and off course, it would be the perfect place to try some weird activities. No one would be able to find them. And let's just say for speculation, Hanso is the one doing all this stuff. From the new letters uncovered lately on the website, why would he be the one to deal with the clean-up of the crashes? This bothers me a little. Does his company own the kind of equipment that can find a missing plane? Maybe. But I digress.
case in point3 > How else would people find this uncharted island than to crash or become shipwrecked near the island? We also have this Black Rock Pirate Ship still in tact and very far inland, with dynomite that still works. Bones of pirates, YAAARRRR! ( sorry had to add that for me matey's), and other trinkets that are in really good shape. Now with saying this about the Black Rock, I only mention this because of how in tact it is. But the flip side is, how old is this ship really? Some have speculated that the ship is from the 1800's. How would the ship be there? But I digress again and think I am getting off subject.

You are onto something with this though. The thing I can only come up with is this,
If Hanso is the one responsible for all this going on (and this is a big IF), maybe he has performed his experiment before and has charted out how long it would take to have people come to the island. But I honestly think this is far-fetched myself.

I really like the whole HANSO, Dharma, Marvin Candle, Desmond line of the story........You know, I enjoyed immensely the "fake" post about episode 10 dealing with the island back story...how HANSO came to be and how Dharma got to the ole craphole island, etc.....I am sure that is a hoax but wouldn't that be a great, great episode? Things are slow here at work, so I get a minute or two to read and reply.
I love the idea that HANSO's info is "futuristic" to what we see as far as the LOST story timeline goes on TV. At first I thought Hanso was either dead or not involed.

Today is the day that Oceanic World Air was flying for the first time, I wonder if they'll have the same problems with crashing aircraft that the Original Oceanic Airlines did. I want to go off more, but can't cause I'm at work and all my notes are at home. So needless to say, there will be more on this from the Truffula later.

A nugget of info that supports this is the Pilot's explanation and Cindy's explanation of the flight were TOTALLY different. Pilot said 6 hours, Cindy only 2. And now Cindy is a Lostaway. And now Cindy is MISSING.

Today at 11:21am EST poster Jessica Fletcher made mention of the disney link going to the Big Bad Wolf Disney page. Later at 2:51pm EST I checked the site on a break at work, and it had changed. BaldLikeLocke - this must be a new addition today, cause I haven't seen it posted anywhere else yet. I have one problem with this: I thought it was KELVIN, and not CALVIN that Desmond shacked up with in the Swan.
JohnLocke - I haven't noticed that either, although I STILL can't see the search flights page (tried several browsers, etc).

I don't know about anyone else, but I have been emailing Vincent Madison about both the updates to the site and my inability to view the flights page on a regular basis. And I've been getting personal replies.
This is where I begin to get suspicious. The first few emails I sent were from a "fictitious" point of view, congratulating him on reviving Oceanic, and good luck. Then, as things showed up, like the Sydney Herald articles about another Oceanic crash that JUST happened (Nov 2005), the "fake" Miami Dolphins draft, the disney link, and the /flights.htm page, I began to ask questions.
At first, it looked like I was getting some genuine help, but then, yesterday, I get an email from him that was NOT a reply to something I sent him. He said "In regards to my problem with the website, his investigative resources have told him that I have solved my problem."
And just what the hell is that supposed to mean??
Does Vincent Madison have somebody watching me here??
And if so, who?, and hey buddy: MY PROBLEM IS SO NOT SOLVED!!

I think I've come to an impass here folks, and I'm lookin for some opinions.
One part of me wants to play along and see what happens next, but the other part says it's about time to call Mr. Madison out. Not for a fight, I'm not a violent person. But I would like to extend to him an invitation to join the Lost-Tv boards, and come clean about this whole mess (ie - who he is and are his sites legit or not). Then again, I feel if I press the issue, I may stop getting responses, and will have LOST this round.
What do yal think?
Or for that matter, have any of YOU been tipping off Mr. Madison about my work here?

I went to the website http://oceanicworldair.com and found a lot of weird stuff. One being a newspaper article about another 747 with 4 crew, no passengers repositioning flight being lost in the same area. Going mission since Nov. 16, 2000.

The weirdest part was a link that showed NFL drafts. Names started to show up in the first picks of teams. Arizona Cardinals having a first pick of Nathan Goodwin. Charlie, Shannon and Boone also are first picks. I didn't check all the teams, but thought it weird that it showed up on this site at all.
Any comments?

I just clicked on the fly@oceanicworldair.com link to try an email, and it popped this whole message up about spammers hitting their sites, and a New Secret Email address coming soon. As well as a LOST Trivia that will put you on some sort of exclusive mailing list.
They have asked that no one mass post the email, to keep it in the LOST community. So if you have it, assuming I can't figure it out, please PM it to me. I also noted that they wouldn't reply to "does this work?" emails anymore, so I'm thru with tryin to figure that all out.

MARVIN CANDLE turns into AVIN AND, which turns into CALVIN ANDMRE with the MR a blue color. I'm confused. Can the MR hint at Mr. Ecko? Is Ecko and Marvin Candle tied in? Who is Calvin Andmre? Is this the Calvin (Kelvin) Desmond was shacked up with?

I was just getting ready to bring this up. Definitely this is Calvin from the hatch. How many Calvins could there be on LOST? But this is far more about Calvin and Marvin and I see nothing to do with Eko. I played around with Andmre and haven't come up with diddly. I didn't notice that the MR was blue though. If you watch the commercial that the (human) eye on the flights page provides with a set of headphones on, the audio is balanced almost entirely to the left side. Probably not notable on just speakers. I highly doubt it, but if anyone with the software can rip the commercial and rebalance the audio, or balance it to the right side, maybe there's a hidden message or something. It doesn't seem likely, but for such an extreme left balance, it had to have been done manually.

Go to oceanicworldair.com and click on the MIDDLE newspaper. At the bottom is a story title "Air Crash Mystery Deepens". It's talks of the flight 815 that was sighted by eye-witnesses, but when officials go and look, they find remnants of flight '518' which crashed Nov. 16, 2000, in the same area. I'm thinking that the others are the crew of that flight, because it says no passengers were on board, which could explain the jumpsuits.

P.S. If you click on the LEFT paper, and read the story "Oceanic Curse Strikes Again", you will see that in fact flight 815 DID crash in Sep. 2004, not 2009 like speculated by some other posters.

P.P.S. The second article, if you read it closely, say there have been NO scheduled Passenger flights from Sydney to LA at the point the flight crashed in September. Flight aren't scheduled to carry passengers UNTIL November 2004. Hmmmm. Then WHAT or WHEN was this fllight.

Juan, since you brought HANSO into this discussion, let me point out something I noticed and ask your opinion of it.

We know, pretty much conclusively, that Flight 815 crashed in September 2004. This has been confirmed in places other than the Sydney newspaper article on the oceanicworldair.com site. Also, we know that approximately 48 days have passed on the island. So, therefore, it is currently sometime in November 2004 on craphole island.

The HANSO website, which we know is official, includes the Joop the orangutan birthday announcement....and also the hidden Global Health message for HANSO to cease and desist operations as a result of the simian to human transmission of a type of virulent meningitis. The dates of both of these letters are November 2005.......and this is

A FULL YEAR IN THE FUTURE FROM THE CURRENT STORY WE ARE WITNESSING ON TV EACH WEEK.

What on earth do you make of this? Is the HANSO website providing us with the future of the show? If so, then the "sickness" has nothing to do with this outbreak of meningitis....and I never thought it did anyway, regardless of the specualtion on this board to the contrary.

I don't really know how to connect those 2 letters to the multiple airplane crashes purported by the oceanicworldair.com website, but I do think it is interesting that those letters are dated so far in the future.

time is continuing outside the island, it may now very well be the year 2012 outside the island.

that's why in 2005 the GHO could send a letter, even though it was to tanzinia or whereevr, perhaps the experiments are being observed from real world locations, like the copenhagen life -extension Joop experiment..

Dharma is learning from the island, but the island has its own timeline.. to dharma maybe things go slower when viewing, much slower, maybe the reason for whispers even... (ala the Star Trek epsiode where time was catching up...and the crew could hear voices/ as a weird humm)

Now I don't understand the first thing about the scientific explanations behind this, so I'm gonna take a stab at it too:
So what Yung is saying is that the Island doesn't operate in "real time". This would explain the legs of the TSS kids that were taken looking older when Jin and Eko saw them. When the others "take" you, you are brought back to "real time". Thus when they're put back (programmed as "others") they're much older. This will also explain Walt aging (as Malcolm Kelley ages in real life). So we have Hanso with some sort of Remote Viewing Device that lets them see the events as they occur on the Island; this could possibly explain why it always rains when the shnit hits the fan. There's so much more info I need to really get nuts with this, but yal feel free to continue the piggyback. Although we may wanna open up something in T&S about all this, if it starts to get crazy in here.

on the island, only 48 days has passed, & it is still in all sense 2004/2005.
but outside the island and its magnetic field etc, its much later.

to a person on the island time doesn't go slow or anything, it just loops...and they have no idea.

so they are inside this "missing day", think the good old wrinkle in time ideas, equator, equinox etc"
& they only get to exist each time the island is in the same spot.. (meaning the island does shift, its PHILLIED, hidden etc)

Lars Navaho... If you go to www.marvincandle.com, there is a new message on top from a Lars Navaho saying that Marvin Candle has handed the website over to him.
Lars Navaho also is an anagram for Alvar Hanso.
On a few forums I've found while googling 'Lars Navaho', Lars has posted stuff.
One from October 28th is asking that if anyone knows where Candle is becuase he said he hasn't heard from him in two days or something like that.

What does anyone know about marvincandle.com? There's a backwards welcome message from "Marvin," saying that he might post important information on the upkeep of the research facility on the site. It also seems geared toward the Swan, not the other stations. Last week, when I came across globespotter.com, the image in the center, saying the website flashed. The letters would all leave but ESP were left. What do you make of that? I know that one of the Station apparently deals with ESP, so I'm wondering if it was just a hint/nod to that?
Anyway, yeah, I agree with the Dr. Candle thing, we're all doing a lot of work while they're getting the goods, lol. But since they seem to be posting everything that's good.
We just need to figure out what's going on with the keywords. When I first saw it, I was thinking that there may be some sort of search engine it's taking the words from. It almost seems it's just things people are looking for becuase there are so many duplicates.

New coordinates around Aralai on globespotter. I have them ready to post if you want to see them.
However, I realzed afterwards that what I type in is not exactly the same as the coordinates it shows on the map.
I didn't pay attention to that before, so I'm gonna go back and check the other 2 coordinates around Aralai and see if maybe one stays the same once typed in...

ETA: Okay, I checked the two coordinates on the bottom. Them being -4.815 -162.342 and -12.519542 177.093945 and they stayed the same. The first one we've all seen, the second being the island I posted the link to last night.
However, these two, the newest coordinates, -10 42.2316 166 00.0408 and -12 18.2342 168 49.2342 don't stay the same. They both do point to islands, and they are in the same general area as the others... Near Vanuatu, Fiji, and the Solomon Islands.
So I'm still not sure of the point of any of the coordinates relating to Aralai, especially since none of the islands I've found using the coordinates resemble the same shape.

Has anyone checked out the www.aralai.com (http://www.aralai.com) website yet? I've noticed that it has changed at least once in the past couple of days. First time I looked at it, it was a larger map with multiple sets of numbers. Now it is displaying the smaller, more familiar aralai with only 1 set of numbers.

Looks like there is a darkened area in the bottom right corner of the old aralai map where the "4 8 15 16 23 42" sequence of numbers is. Perhaps the new map on aralai.com is an enlargement of that darkened corner?

Greetings once again.
I have recieved word from Vincent Madison concerning Lars Navaho.
They are aware of what he's gonna try to do. This is the reason for the hightened security at OWA.
That's all that appears to be goin on right now.
Anyone wanna bet they make another update before I get home? It seems to be the trend recently.

I'm not sure what's been mentioned before or not, :S.
GEOCOMTEK, which is a "company" they link to, is a fictional site created for the BBC show "Doctor Who".
Merrick Bioteck or however it was spelt, goes to some clonewatch thing afterwards. I didn't like that one very much, lol. However, after reading through the forum on clonewatch, it seems to be connected to the movie from earlier in the year The Island, and for some reason seems to be getting linked to Lost now in some ways.

ETA: Merrick is for The Island. GEOCOMTEK is for Doctor Who on BBC. Oceanic... well, we all know that one. So is pb-sales just used as a thing to promote promo/related websites for tv shows/movies? Why is Vincent Madison's name there?

oh ok...I know you guys arent tryin to do this, but if you havent noticed you've kinda clique'd up and its the same 3-4 people posting...and it makes it hard for people like me to hop in and know whats what...sifting to thru almost 400 posts and what not...lol

Yeah, thats a pretty decent amount of veiws. My guess is with the show on hiatus till january, alot of people are going to be trying to solve the mysteries of these two sites to get their fix. and on the others link......Im still pretty sure that it is the Sioux Falls SD Wigs part of that draft that is relevant. If any of them are. Still not sure what to make of it, but all the other teams actually exist....that is the only fake one. Have heard the future dated draft results debated as well, but I don't really have anything to add on that one.
