Fair enough lab! I shall have one of the monkeys standing by with a cooler. Look for the monkey in the flight suit, the FAA does not allow tuxedos on the runway unless you are going to be a passenger on the plane. I will also work on some new recipes while I am gone!

NO! Here have a couple....stick some in the freezer for another time! We have only had them in my town for about a year but I grew up on 'em. They are the best!!!! Congrats VA on your top agent status!

Thank you!! We had them back in northern VA, where I used to live. There was even one Krispy Kreme place where you could get them fresh off the conveyor belt (those of you who've had them only from a grocery store are missing out on heaven). But up here in NH I can only find Dunkin' Donuts and in my opinion there is no comparison. And we didn't even have Dunkin' Donuts in the little KY town I grew up in.

You grew up in Ky?!!! Me too!!! When I lived in Winston-Salem, NC we would go to the shop after the bars closed and they would have 'em coming off the conveyer by 1:30 am. Everybody went there on weekend nites!

Congrats to ILE and all the others who hit milestone posts yesterday. Sorry I wasn't around last night for the end of the chapter, but like Faith I hope that I get in on the beggining of the next chapter of the webmaze and can contribute more.

Congrats Truff on the TV! That's very exciting!

VA, I feel so lucky to have a Krispy Kreme just down the road from where I work. There is nothing like a hot, fresh, Krispy Kreme glazed... NOTHING! We have Dunkin' Donuts here too, but they can't even begin to compare.

I'll be popping in and out as I can. (I'm a CPA in a public accounting firm, and our busy season has just started. Hours and hours of overtime, and not a lot of free time. But I do need a mental break so I'll head over here whenever I can.)

Jeannie, I feel your pain! I was in public for two years. I am sooooo glad to be out. Loved the work, hated the hours and the stress. I was an auditor, but busy season is busy season all around. Plus, I have the wee one now, so it would never work with all the long hours and travel. Public Accounting is not mommy friendly! However, I am still sitting for the exam. I didn't get all those extra college hours and spend all the money to pass the first three parts for nothing!

Faith, I know what you are talking about. This is my ninth tax season, but I went back to school when my own children started school, so by the time I started working, they were well past the "wee" stage. I couldn't have done it then.

I do mainly auditing too, but so many of our audits are December year ends; plus this is a smaller firm, so while I do more auditing than anything else, I have to do my share of tax work as well. I usually put in around 250-275 hours of overtime between January and April. Which sucks, but I also get 6 weeks of paid vacation to take the rest of the year, so that helps!

I agree that public accounting, especially if you are on a partner track, can be unfriendly to moms. That said, I don't want us to scare away bright young women who are thinking of careers in accounting. Some firms are better than others at being mommy friendly. The one I used to work for usually offered busy season work to those of us who left the firm after having kids. Our audits tended to be of tax-basis financial statements and didn't require much, if any, time at the client's location. They would let us do work at home or on the weekend. When my kids were a little older, they let me work a half week at the office during busy season. I quit doing even that when they moved the office even farther away and I couldn't take the drive (the DC area has monster traffic).

Jamie, I had a little cancer scare over the summer, but fortunately for me, the doctors were all very cool. It turned out that I am free of any cancer but I was crapping my pants for a few months during the tests and the surgery and stuff! Glad to hear that you are feeling better.

One more question, when did you find the site/when was xna4all noticed in the RD? I want to know if the site went up yesterday or today (I know I'm being anal(ucia), but that's how the Map got how it is today).

Like I said, I'm planning a pretty significant update to the Map and Guide shortly after the new ep, so this is kinda important, especially cause it's currently inactive. Who knows when it will spring to life.

This is just my opinion here folks.
But the stego came from Copenhagen/Hodag.
Then alot of folks in the maze "creatively borrowed" the technique.
But as far as I know, NOTHING from "The Webteam"s sites have contained stego.
I would still check, but I think these guys are beyond parlor tricks like stego.
Like I said, just my opinion.

Cut it across the bend in his left thumb. 3 stitches, so it goes all the way across (he's a really little guy). He's sleeping right now, but I thought he was gonna pass out a few different times, poor kid. To make matters worse, they gave him a tetanus shot too lol. He'll survive tho. They put a splint on it so he wouldn't bend it.

Rhi, glad your boy is okay. It's scary when they need stitches. When my middle son was about 10 he was trying to open a stuck window and shoved his hand through the glass at an upward angle, cutting his wrist. Blood everywhere, and I do mean everywhere... He needed 28 stitches and to this day he has never regained feeling in one of his fingers because he damaged a nerve.

Truff, excellent transcript of the Walt stuff. I noticed when I was back-indexing the known transcript posts that he is pretty consistent with the info he gives (style, mythology, linear clues i.e., one feeds off the previous rather than having no connection)-- I'm *really* interested to see if any of it shows up on T.V.

Time to work now... will check back at lunch!

lab, it was the latest one... The Catch-Up Show I think it was called. It was very briefly. The guy was like, "Oh, you guys know that picture from the hatch? Turns out it was a hoax." And then they talked about it a little bit, told people they can read about it at the Lost-Tv forums.

Well, it looks like you all are keeping Smokey pretty busy. Since he seems to have the "unwise agents" hooked up, I will do the same for the "wise loyalists".
