Could when DI was in there, but not since. The computer I've been using that I just got XP onto is just a loaner until I get the chance to get mine all fixed. Damn virus. I'm going to try XP on my normal computer tonight, hopefully get it up and running. It works so much better. Maybe it will let me chat, lol.

I just wanted to say thank you to everybody who told me to have a good trip, like ILE, lab5, Truff, aggie, mika, sayidsalot,jeannie and everyone else. I know there are more, but I can't go looking for all of the posts right now. You guys and gals are all the best. Its great that we can all come here, we have never met and probably never will, but I actually feel like we are all friends and that we all care about each other. Kinda brings a smile to your face to know that there are such nice people in the world.:)
Oh well, before I get too corny, I have to go pick up my old lady from the train and finish getting ready for the trip. I wish I could print the entire OWA thread to bring with me since I am only a little bit into it. Anyone know how to do that? PM me, I'll check my PM's so I can do it if there is a way.

I was spoiled, of course, being a web junkie, but everyone else was like "yeah, I'll watch it if I'm home, and not busy, but I dunno, should be a normal episode, right?" Which in that situation you can't tell them what will happen so I ended up resorting to JUST WATCH THE :censored: SHOW OKAY?!?!?!?which kinda scared them.

Plus at work I'm in a holding pattern waiting for my boss to finish evaluating my work, and until he's done with that, I have nothing to do tomorrow but check out the boards! They'll really think I've gone over the deep end.

Okay. This has not been my day. I had the same exact thing happen, but when I finally got the backdoor way in here, I could not stay logged on. I would enter my name and password, get the usual screen, but when it came back to the board I ws logged out again.

I couldn't even contact anyone, because you can't send PMs if you aren't logged in. I even registered another name so I could contact a mod for help, but then it never sent the registration email.

So I've spent the last hour sitting here frustrated... clearing cookies, leaving, coming back, clearing cookies, etc... and now finally it held.

I hope it doesn't keep this up!

Hey Aggie, saw the pics in BSS1 and OWA. Stego'd = Nada.

How bout the episode last night. I starting watching it 2 seconds after I walked in the door this morning. Didn't even get my coat off before it started. Great way to start off the next run of new eps. A few quick thoughts about the episode.

The Monster - OK cool. Seems Mr Clucks was right sortof. I think the monster only fears you if you fear it. But then again (and correct me if I'm wrong), wasn't the pilot the only one to be killed by the monster. Nice to see the monster. Only now it leaves more questions. Ahhh classic Lost.

Why does the computer only kick on when Michael is there? I don't think it's Walt. I think there's a camera somewhere in the hatch and they're being watched. Most likely by whoever is on the other end of the computer Michael is talking to.

Agrillo was dead-on... the "Jesus stick" the best line to come out of "Lost" since the protracted "Hello... Hello" sequence between Locke and Eko. I'll never be able to think of Eko's staff as ANYTHING but his "Jesus stick" even again.

I also appreciated the fact that we had some characterization alongside the fascinating sci-fi monster effect. I appreciate the fact that the writers don't make Charlie a likeable character. He is annoying as hell, just like people in the real world. DM does a tremendous job portraying the low self-esteem musician. He acts just like a few I've known.

Monster effect was wonderful, if a little reminiscent of "The Abyss". Eko's reaction perfect for his character and acted to a tee. Since everything on the island is supposed to be scientifically plausible, I look forward to seeing how the writers explain the "living smoke" that contains images from characters' pasts and how both Charlie and Eko observed it.

Hi all. Wow, that was awesome! So glad Lost is back. Can not wait to jump into the BSS1 and OWA threads at lunchtime.

Can I just have a supermodel moment here and say how happy I am that Libby got some new clothes? She was looking pretty bad in her last few appearances. Claire also had a very cute top on last night. But, this morning I am wondering: if they have all this luggage and clothing around, can they not give Eko some stylin' new threads too?

ABC has ordered the pilot for Six Degrees from J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot and Touchstone TV. The show is a dramatization of the six degrees theory - a group of unrelated people in New York City, and how their lives criss-cross.

And wow, Mr. Clucks site was dead-on about the Monster!! That's a cool twist of events! I bet we will learn more about the Monster and its origin. Yet another clue revealed, but it creates a whole new web of mysteries upon its revelation...

Agreed. I think someone is watching in the hopes of luring Michael out, perhaps to capture/kill him. Why? Hm, dunno. (That ugly red shirt that he hasn't changed maybe ever? Why is that not falling apart yet?) They seem to want to kill/capture a lot of people from time to time. Or, if Walt has paranormal abilities, maybe he inherited it from Michael. Like a recessive gene? So they want to check Michael out.

Also, I just wanna chime in on the recitation of Psalm 23. I am convinced that Eko is Catholic, although he recited an Anglican version of the Psalm. I don't have a recording of last night's ep, but I am pretty sure that Eko said that "the only planes allowed in the air are UN aid and Catholic missions." OK, that's a ridiculous statement, but whatever.

Also, I am not sure if he referred to the statues as the Virgin Mary or the Blessed Mother. Either way, adoration of Mary is a Catholic thing; idolatry is one of the things that separated us from the Protestants in the first place. So his bro is a Catholic priest and ordained him as such. So why did he not recite from a Catholic Bible? After all this commentary, I'm not reading much into it. I figure the writers are heathens, they don't know the difference. Weird, aggie. I was born and raised a Methodist, we use the King James Version of the Bible, and I've never heard the 23rd Psalm said as "shadow of the valley." It sounded so weird to hear it said that way last night.

I also googled 23rd Psalm King James Version, and the first 3 sites I checked also show it as Valley of the Shadow. So I don't know where the Shadow of the Valley thing Eko (and Charlie) said last night came from. My son mentioned it sounded wrong, and I told him it must be a Catholic version. Guess I'll have to tell him that's not true either!
