Hello everyone.
My first post and I am very excited :)
I wanted to become a part of this and after reading all the posts I could find, I thought that this was the place to introduce myself.

I can hand out some morning beverages.

We have Kate's Tikal runaway special blend coffee. "Just what you wanna wake up smellin in the early morn, whether awaking in a barn, cheap hotel, island beach or hatch".

We have Jack's Doctor to doctor blend coffee. "For meeting all the other special doctors here on the island, Desmond who wanted to be a doctor, Gerald and Karen De Groot, doctors of another sort, and of course Dr. Marvin Candle."

Thank you very much aggiesean, I already have a morse code translator and have decoded them. I see only three posts, on 3rd, 4th and 5th Oct 2004 and the transmissions are 4.23.1988, 7.16.2000 and 10.4.2004. Am I missing out anything?

I ran across something funny/interesting this afternoon. I'm taking a telecourse psych class on Human Development, and was watching a tape today. They were talking about John Locke and Jean Jacques Rousseau, in regards to the question of "Nature vs. Nurture". "Rousseau believed that children are born with an innate goodness" (nature), and "Locke believed that children are born as a Tabula Rosa or clean slate, and are a product of their environment" (nurture).

I know this stuff has been gone over before, but I just thought this was cool to see, in the contect in which it was presented. I was grinning and hollered at my hubby to come see it lol.

Hello La Isla - Hey sweetie! - I am good. The future holds many possibilities for one such as I. Yesterday I hiked with two friends up a waterfall. It was so nice to be outdoors. I had knee surgery about 2 years ago & although I rehabbed, I have not gone out and hiked up a fall or felt that feeling of knowing my way around out in the country. I think it will be so nice to do that in the Mayan ruin areas. We shall see.

My book is one I have worked on a long time. It is my first novel, so I am working really hard on finishing it up. I have another one brewing on my mind.

So, think good thoughts for me.

Carmen, thats so nice! :D I agree the outside is wonderful when you have that chance. My family goes camping up in the mountains some weekends in winter when its nice & we can see all the way out over the sea on nice clear days! The mountain, the sea, the wind... perfect!

Congrats on the first novel work. Thats exiting!

I managed to stay caught up all day, looks like it's been, dare I say, a slow day. GOOD. I need to ORGANIZE before the next wave of Updates.

So here's the plan - I need to do a MAJOR update to the MAP. First and foremost, that HAS to get done.
Aggie has graciously volunteered to take on the task of helping to organize the Walt/Oeil/Neil/Val stuff (email will be sent to ya shortly after I post here); and Suki's project tracking Walt on the Island will also be extremely helpful (PM on its way after aggie's email).
Also, Ralf and I are attempting to compile a "Facts Sheet" so to speak of all the things we know now (for example: Danielle Rousseau's team was sent by Encela Corp).

All of this stuff is gonna take time so be patient. ;)
Heading into the Maze (after I send that stuff I mentioned)......
