In the last 20 minutes or so of the show, they talk about one of the world's greatest hoaxers who is my girlfreind's father. We made a documentary about him that's been on the festival curcuit for the past year. The segement already aired on the east coast, but anyone else can catch it if they happen to tune in later.

Anywho, again, sorry to threadjack, just wanted share my excitement.

Thanks everyone. I would have said something sooner, but I wasn't sure what 20/20 was going to use. They called earlier in the week to let us know they wanted to use some stuff from our film, but knowning the news business, they would probably completely edit us out at the last minute. I didn't know for sure until some friends on the east called to let us know that we were featured.

Last night, I had a nightmare.

I woke up (in my nightmare) in a passenger seat of an airliner. (Uh-oh.)

I looked up and saw two things on the forward cabin wall, an Oceanic Air logo and a countdown clock that was just ticking down to 42.

To my right I could hear a group of passengers with their heads huddled together.

“…Ok, it looks like we’ve got 42 minutes before this bad boy breaks up in mid-air. Lab, go forward and see if you can overhear the pilots’ conversation…”

“On it, truff…”

“truff, why don’t I see if I can pump the flight attendants for intel…”

“Ok, ILE, I’m gonna go over and talk to that guy that looks like Mr. Clean…”



What did I do ? I went back to my seat and took a nap of course, secure in the knowledge that there was no way in h3ll that plane was gonna go down.

The only thing that scared me was the guy in the seat next to me had this big giant head. Creepy.

Penelope, maybe you already found out about it but in case, transmission 4 is like the other trans in PV that the date is set back in time, but yes it is the newest. Also you were asking I think about what did it say? This was the shortest one on the greek letters which are: ETA - MU - IOTA - XI - ZETA
Someone (sorry I forget right now who it was) received a decoder list of the greek to the english alpabet which we are using for these transmissions & this one comes up to say DELOS. Also, what do you think of the creepy 'be one of us, michael' part at the end?!!!!!

Tinnitus is harsh. Especially for a musician.
Pete Townshend of the Who has it pretty bad. And funny story too, my EAR Training professor at Berklee (George Zonce) also had tinnitus in one ear cause he used to tour with famous jazz drummer Buddy Rich, having to stand right next to his cymbals every show.

I also forgot to mention that my flight left JFK from GATE 23!!! No joke! My wife of course gave me "the look" and an obligatory "Oh God!" but left it at that! I also didnt see the two epis that aired while I was gone because they are on season one in Argentina!

Alvar, I think that its a very interesting theory and I think you may be on to something. I have seen that movie and I agree, the seating chart may end up being an important part of their fate. What I still cannot figure out and its driving me nuts, is WHO is NOT truly a fuselage or tailie member, considering Vincent's clue. Thank you sir for the info. Lab PM'ed me some info to help me catch up, but I believe I now have over 200 pages of posts to go through and I still have not had time to watch the 2 eps I missed. I got off the plane, took a nap, drove three hours to pick up the kitten I got my wife for Christmas, then hung with family. I am borkin' tired!!

Another thing is, it's been nonstop thunder here since 6 AM. At the beginning I had unplugged my laptop and it was running on battery. Then halfway through I realized "s--t, I have 5 minutes left on my battery!" and spent the rest of the time PRAYING that the power didn't go out.

I left Mesa a couple of months before the world series for Seattle. (That was Seattle's 116-win season, when everyone thought the WS would be Mariners-DBacks which would've put me in a bad position...) I miss Mesa sometimes though, especially spring training with the Cubs (HoHoKam park was just a few miles from my house)

And the new Cards stadium? It looks like a giant Jiffy Pop!
