Actually Aggie I was pulling for the Giants. I still can't believe Carolina beat them. Too many injuries at the end of the season I think. This is the closest I've ever come to my dream Superbowl. Giants .vs Steelers. It would be win win for me as I am equally a big fan of both teams. It'd be hillarious.

The cast of Lost is about to get a fatter paycheck.

For signing on to an extra year on the ABC ratings hit, Touchstone Television has offered all original members of the ensemble – including Matthew Fox, Evangeline Lilly, Josh Holloway, Naveen Andrews, Dominic Monaghan, Terry O'Quinn, Jorge Garcia, Daniel Dae Kim, Yunjin Kim and Harold Perrineau – nearly $80,000 each per episode next season, says the Hollywood Reporter.

Currently, the actors are said to be earning between $20,000 and $40,000 per show. Fox, however, reportedly earned an extra bonus of at least $250,000 for playing the pivotal role of Jack.

Reps for Touchstone TV and the Lost actors declined comment.

The trade paper notes that a similar behind-the-scene scenario took place on Desperate Housewives, another ABC hit. Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Eva Longoria reputedly went into the series making between $20,000-$40,000, then received bonuses of $250,000 midway though the show's first season as well as equal salary bumps for Season 2, bringing their per-episode fees to the high-five to low-six figures, the Reporter adds.

1. to talk or post anything about OWA there is a site, also one for gold members.

2. the other thread BSS1 is where i have been posting. now that is for anything related to the show you are trying to figure out that is not OWA related correct.?
it takes me so long to type that 20 post have been put up with a new subject and it doesn't fit in by the time i get mine in.

3. that brings me to 3.....i have no clue about chat rooms, i just clicked, entered my name and up pops a blue screen with the namess of people there. that was it. saw no words and heard nothing. do you have to register there too to "chat"?
(gosh i feel like i'm in a mini mall here with all the forums, chats. etc.)

ok post getting waaaaaaaaaay too long.....will have to ask later more on myspace and the live journal thing.

The thread that says it's for GOLD members was actually just where we talked about OWA before aggiesean started a new one specifically for it. It's just the old thread.

The BSS1 thread came about because of www.bigspaceship1.com and since has branched into related websites so we discuss them in there. You're posts have been relevant, about Gods and mythology, so it's all good :)

As for the Bork chat... you don't have to register, just type in your name (no password if you're not registered) and click enter and should work.

If you need anything else, let us know. I hope this helped a bit :)

Welcome, Dionysus!

This thread is known as the Boom Boom Room (also referred to as the BBR) and yes, here is where we chat, sing karaoke, drink, and generally have fun with each other. It's also the place to ask for help when you have questions about the other threads.

We (regular MilesPlus and Gold Members) discuss OWA in the OWA thread, which is where you requested your seat from Vincent. Vincent monitors that thread, and he will award miles from posts made there.

I suggest that you check out Truffula's stickied webmaze thread at the top of the page. There he describes the various sites in the webmaze, and posts links to them. Most of the major sites have a thread within this forum dedicated to them, and folks post in the appropriate thread.

I'm in busy season at work, and haven't had a chance to Bork Chat, so I can't answer that part, but I'm sure someone here will (if they haven't by the time I get this typed up LOL) soon. I hope to get into chat this weekend, when I have some more free time. For now, I've just tried to read the thread and follow what the other webmazers are saying.

Dion - You are doing fine. And BBR is the place to ask those kinds of questions. As far as research, you're doing good. don't try to get all the answers, find your specialty and stick with that. I follow most of the threads, but as far as mythology and foreign languages, forget it, not my strong suit, that isn't where I do my research. We're a team and there are others on the team that do those things much better than I ever could and I am grateful for their research. I tend to find pictures and connect the dots. I also am pretty descent on the EMRI computer at perception.net. There are 4 or 5 of us who are pretty devoted to that and we work well together on it.
I think you are on target with Stephen King. Part of the maze has borrowed from him, although I don't think his works are the main focus, what you have contributed makes sense and does explain some of the madness.

Ralf thanks.:) got more on steven king. his new book was talked about on aol. its called, "the CELL" as in cell phones through which signals mess peoples minds and destroy all of boston. not sure of it all. just skimmed it. but his works tend to roll over to one another. there is another new one too Lisey's Story to be releases at end of year.
on his web site he mentioned way back he was a LOST fan, and just recently pushed backed a couple of projects. hmmmmm? so who knows.

looked up that photo with the eye. we never sleep. weird for it was taken in 1994. what other reference besides this show does it have? plus it is the only professional photo, taken by James Leonard, 1994. others by his wife or family. was wondering in the back of my mind if this is the same artist that took photos of valentine, olivie, etc. just a weird hunch i had that doesn't mean much except would link stephen king to the show.

much of the interviews i read about him are so similiar but then again many of the same themes are similiar in general to everything else.

oh and he gives a weekly update on what tunes he listening to, books he's reading,etc.

I signed up a long time ago (back when he was doing The Plant as an online book) and I still get emails three or four times a year. (In fact, I got one this past Monday letting me know that he was going to be a guest on "Amazon Fishbowl with Bill Maher" last night.) It's pretty funny, because when you open your inbox, it says your email is from Stephen King. And sometimes they write it like it's actually him writing to you. LOL

Like confirmation about the upcoming Claire Ep.
And the fact that we're gonna find out all about Walt and where he's been, as well as what's behind the concrete being explained a little better too THIS SEASON.
I took the talk about the concrete as a subtle hint that the Island FB Ep may actually happen! And our knowledge from the Maze is gonna make those Eps SO FIERCE I can't even begin to explain. :D

And there was a hint to cap a particular shot of the London skyline in one of Charlie's FB scenes in tomorrows Ep. D said a building that musicians might recognize, and there's something written on it (a marquee perhaps) that might come in handy in the future.

What London buildings would be known by musicians? Royal Albert Hall and maybe the Theatre District? Here is a RAH shot from an unusual angle for reference. The dome is a give-away (Oeil said the DOME clue was unimportant, btw)
