It's times like these I kinda regret being a "human error is part of the game" person...Frankly, I'm more of that type of person now in the era of instant replay.

Did I like the officiating? No. But I can't prove the refs were particularly biased against the Seahawks. If I could, I'd :catfight: :catfight: :catfight: in a heartbeat, but if the charge don't fit you must acquit. (Hmm...kinda like the whole "Seattle stole my 12th man" thing...)

When it comes down to it, we made boneheaded moves too. Do I think that if we HAD played our best, we would have won? Yes. Do I think we'll win next year? Hellz yeah!

At least I can revel in the memory of one of my teams getting there, and I look forward to Super Bowl XLI, the Seahawk's first super bowl win, as well as Super Bowl XCII, when the Cardinals finally make it back to the national championship.

Aggie, nice post. I guess my feeling on the officiating thing is close to yours. The officials are humans. Sometimes they make questionable calls. Replay helps but the evidence has to be clear that the call on the field was wrong. In the end the game is what it is. Someone will win and someone will lose. Some fans will be happy and some will be disappointed. That's the way it goes, because the players and the officials are human.

I am going to say up front that if Seattle had played their best last night and Pittsburgh had played the game they did, Seattle would have creamed them. If both teams had played the games they are capable of playing, I don't know who would have won. I do know it would have been a hell of a lot of fun to watch though! Much more so than the game that was played. Both teams were disappointing in their play, in my opinion. But maybe that's because the players are human too, and the pressure was a little more than any of them were ready for.

Yea, the puppy bowl rocked! I turned it on cuz I was like "I wonder if they'll be talking about puppies..." but nooo... it's just 2hours of puppies playing! It was adorable... and then the kitten half-time-show. My hubby and I were compelled to watch it for a long while too...

It's like it always is, a lot of cars...I like the dub-rooms they have now. My hubby works for a car company, so he walks around telling me about which cars are really the same frame/company just with a different style on the outside. I like the new Jeep Gladiator Concept they had, that was cool.

I'm sure it'll be quiter if you go on a weeknight.

Edit: Someone help me, what is the proper way to do quotes? I mean, if I'm going to quote someone else's post. I know I can make a Quote box, but I've been copying and pasting and then I have to type out the original author... is there an easier way? I'm just missing something?

Afternoon Gang. I too was disappointed with the officiating of last nights game. Seattle shoulda been given that first TD. That pushoff was weak. And the chop block was ridiculous. He was clearly going for the tackle. At least they got the fumble call right and reversed it.

Just catching up here in the BBR thread. What a crazy Monday. The legal world does NOT care that the Steelers won the superbowl....that's not fair! Plus, I'm so busy I am missing out on the webmaze and chattin' with ya'all (Truff I blame you for the revitalization of my southern slang I had gotten rid of once I moved back from Virginia!! LOL!!) Hopefully I will pop into Bork at some point tonight. Happy 'mazing!

ETA: about the officiating thing Aggie and Jeannie: Horrible horrible officiating. And yes, if the Seahawks had played the way I saw them play most of the season, we'd of lost. I just hope you guys keep Shaun Alexander, keep us posted on that Aggie.

ETA2: What is going on with Bork? Someone post it if its postable, or could someone PM so we understand what happened to Adam????
