Last night was an exciting night, as some of you know I just got my first DVD player and finally hooked it up. (I see Lost Season 1 in my very near future.) In the meantime, what, you may ask, was the first movie I rented? Sin City. Very interesting, particularly visually, but I did not love it. Will have to watch it again.

I noticed the comments about dixon's "flaming" of a newbie, and went to read about it....I don't think I've added "ignore poster" that fast before.
dix - don't feel bad, some folks are just not meant for this place, you did what you could (you too all you Mini-Labs ;))
And yeah, reporting bad posts not only notifies Lab, but all the other mods as well, so if enough clicks are made, banishment is imminent (obviously there has to be reason, but in this case it looks like there's more than enough reason).
I trust yal will sort all this stuff out.

I have resorted to mostly lurking as I just am not as adept at all the research and theorizing. Never the less I admire you all and have had a great time lurking and going along for the "ride." It is quiet. So I had a great idea, and started sending my nephew Timmy virtual postcards. I sent him a Dallas tonight, and will continue through the stops. He's 8 and just started emailing. He thinks it's cool that I'm actually doing this. Thought I'd mention it in case anyone else has youngsters that would appreciate it.
