Now I'll admit I have severe reservations about the overall quality of this flick....I'm one who is VERY salty at what Brett Ratner did to the original script (like take out the SENTINELS for one.... not to mention the 2 deaths he put in...booo Brett Ratner!).
I'm sure it'll be visually stunning, but as far as storyline, its practically a carbon copy of X2. As long as Phoenix looks cool, I'll be happy I suppose.

Well I had an exciting morning. Flat tire. As luck would have it, a guy I know was driving past and stopped to help me out. And the sketchy little tire store only charged me $10 to patch it. All in all, not a bad way to kill 90 minutes of my day, I have nothing better to do at the office.

There is the potential for logical and meaningful posts there, but I myself find that I am not of the calliber to participate. Well I had an exciting morning. Flat tire. As luck would have it, a guy I know was driving past and stopped to help me out. And the sketchy little tire store only charged me $10 to patch it. All in all, not a bad way to kill 90 minutes of my day, I have nothing better to do at the office.

As far as Matter shows...we don't have anything booked right now, we're still (yes, STILL) recording. The first 4 tracks are almost mixed though, maybe we'll have em online for ya by the weekend :D

And super - Sugarbush, VT? Cool. I saw Phish play there in 94 and 95. They were summer tour closer shows, and they played at the bottom of one of the slopes, it was REALLY cool :D I have yet to go snowboarding/skiing there - hope ya have fun! :)

Yeah, I yelled too.....that's whats so great about 24 is that they set up this massively intense scene and you forget all about you know who until its too late....
and you JUMP or YELL or RAAAAAHHH (which is my favorite ;)) every time :D

In some of the first few eps of this season, I found it very predictable, and I was worried that they were losing their touch....but after the last "3 hours", that concern is LONG gone :D

Edge of my seat....the whole show....FIERCE!! :D

Figured I couldn't come back here without telling you about my "fun" morning::rolleyez:

I came back from the store this morning, and went into the bathroom. As I tried to leave, the lock wouldn't work. (Mind you, this room is separate from the sink area, and about 5ft x 6ft.) The latch wasn't responding to the knob. I tried a few things, then called maintenance. First the maintenance guy had to drive here from Hearne, a 25 minute drive (it's halfway between here and Waco). When he got here, he unlocked the main bolt to the front door, but UNFORTUNATELY (according to the situation), I deadbolted the door. The only way he could get in? Break the front door down. Finally he was able to get me out of the bathroom (after an hour in there), but now I'm here waiting for a new front door! :(

I sent the following e-mail to my Atmos. Chem. prof:

"I will be unable to make it to lecture today, Tuesday, March 7th. Long story short, I was trapped in my bathroom for an hour this morning and maintenance had to kick in my front door, so I must wait here until this is replaced.

"Have a great day!"

Now hopefully that helps me with him. (Especially the "have a great day" addition.):p

ABC is embarking on a new venture that will let fans download their favorite episodes of the network's hit TV shows for free backed by ad-supported content.

The network will test the program for eight weeks this spring on ABC.com (http://ct.pbinews.com/rd/cts?d=244-2213-83-28531-256149-20079-0-0-0-1) under the heading My ABC. There, viewers can download episodes of Lost, Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy for free.

ABC will support the content streaming one ad per show, said Mike Shaw, president of sales and marketing, ABC Television Network, last week at The 2006 Advertising & Media Conference in Orlando, FL. "We hope to learn a lot and test together how this works," he said.

The initiative comes as ABC's latest attempt to increase its advertising and content offering online.

Currently, consumers can download episodes of Lost and Desperate Housewives from Apple Computer's iTunes store for $1.99 each. No ads appear on iTunes' downloadable episodes, which became available last October.
