I was thinking about that...
What if the things we've done over the past 6 weeks, well up to the return next week (around what, 44 days...) could be what happened on the outside as things were happening on the island?
Like the tv let's us see Island world, the computer screen let's us see outside the world of the island, but within the same time frame?
What do you guys think?

I bet a lot of this stuff might actually come out on the show, but the way the show's been going, I doubt it would actually happen anytime soon. For anyone who hasn't already listened, if you go to the ABC site, then go to the Lost section, there are the official podcasts by the producers of the show. They give a better idea of how things are actually going to play out. On one of the podcasts, they describe how things unfold as a roadtrip...starting in Los Angeles, they know they're going to Boston, but the route is undefined. And eventually somehow they end up in Minsk. I guess it makes more sense when they describe it. Everyone should go check it out. I'll try to find the link if anyone's interested.

As some of you know, I do genealogy. And some wonder if I am wasting my time with Lost instead of focusing my energies in research.
But actually I've learned a lot of new research techniques because of the Lost boards.

From now on:

10: I check to see if my ancestors lived in Buffalo, NY.
9: "Compy Find Great Grandpa Clemons" is an acceptible search method.
8: I add up birth, death or marriage dates to see if they add up to 108.
7: I check passenger lists to see if any of my ancestors came over on The Black Rock.
6: All my family web pages are copyrighted 2009.

Just checked the source code for that site... Noticed that it's a redirected page. It's actually coming from here:

THere's some wierdness in the source of that page, and the buttons don't seem to do anything. There's a link to this for example http://www.oida.org/. I think dharmaindustries is the one that needs cracking.....

And if you look at he source code there something about "Hanso's Law" that just seems like a trigger of some sorts.
I've never ben able to get into that site, but I'm REALLY starting to think that there's more to that site than meets the eye.
Getting IN will be next to impossible as far as I'm concerned, but I AM gonna keep a very watchful eye on it, and listen for any clues to possibly get in.

Aggie - Another example. I used to own a forester I bought used. I blewa tire and had to get a fender repaired. The body shop did a great job and polished out the whole vehicle. If you sign up as an agent on KCSP you will get general mail from Candle and if you sign up on Snowman site you will get texts from many people....Desmond, Alvar, Candle Snowman.....to name a few. Alvar also may attempt to email you and ask you to work for him, as he has hacked in to Candles intranet and has some of our email. He has contacted a few of us but not all. A few people have opted to work with Alvar and a few are double agents. I am still a bit loopy(just woke up) so if this doesn't cover everything you want to know, PM me or something. I should be able to answer you. I will check in and out every little bit, have to get the kids off to school, tidy up and get ready for the day ahead! Hope this helps a little!! ;)

Now Alvar did tell me that he got my address from KCSP but I was signed up for snowmail on my cell before he began contacting me. You may have to sign your cell up. Just wanted to clear up a few things:
The Snowman site first appeared as a link on KCSP
The initial email from Alvar was not prompted by anything except my fierce participation in all this maybe.
Regarding the Update we were searching for, I had recieved prior word from the Doc that things would get interesting on the 4th and 8th of January. Although the info yesterday wasn't as huge as I'd anticipated, it does set up the endgame very nicely (which I am thinkin is gonna be some sort of showdown between the Doc and Alvar on the Island).
