I tell you, its SUPER DUPER Irish green around the BBR today.

Oh, and I'm busy at work as usual, but because I was the most "Festively dressed" at work today (I wore a Boston Celtics Larry Bird jersey and some white and green tennis shoes, and there wasn't much competition), I was presented with a HUGE shamrock to hang on my wall, and a little head thingy like girls wear in their hair, except mine has the springs on it with Shamrocks on the end. I have been sporting it proudly all day! Haha

I would have rather had a Guiness! But that will be coming later for sure.

Anyway, speaking of missing people, the recent season 1 reruns having me really lamenting Boone and Shannon. I really think there was so much story potential there. If they had to kill someone major the first season, I suppose I could have given then Boone, though I did love to look at him. But I think they killed so much story potential by killing them both, and wasted time and writing on their very interesting back story.

keepthefaith, I have to agree with you on killing off Shannon. I could live with Boone, but I could see so much potential for the maturing of Shannon. She had a chance to see herself in a different way, and with Sayid as her partner, I think she could have. But, as I type this, I think maybe the writers were making just that point - life is short.

Speaking of green and beer in the same sentence, you should try some Spruce Beer. It has the same aroma as turpentine, and tastes almost as good. The tray is from a Montreal brand, but I had a taste of the Newfoundland brand (which didn't have a label on the bottle).

You can mix with the regular stuff at first to get them used to it. Really it does not smell, after a few weeks throw all away. It is still the best. I have even bought that electric kitty thing for over $100. Not worth it.
