Spring is surely here! All my Jonquils are blooming and the tulips are sprouting. The Pear tree's are in bloom and the red bud tree's are popping out. Lot's of color! :p There are ton's of birds outside and ain't life grand??

Oh, the red bud! I am so jealous! We are about a month behind you, though, so I can look forward to it. There is one right next to our back yard. But we have forsythia, and if I pruned properly last year, I think it will be spectacular. And all kinds of bulbs that come up at different times. I saw my first red-winged blackbird the other day - we have a small swamp nearby. The birds are lovely, and the geese are back at another neighbor's pond.

Rocky, I read your post about Canadians in the Away Team thread. I have to tell about the Canadian bikers I met at Am Jam, a motorcycle jamboree held in Cobleskill. Bring your Harley or be real tough, you know? Well, I lived in Cobleskill at the time, my sister and I went out and met these two nice Canadian guys and we ended back on my porch to drink and listen to music and order pizza. The most outrageous thing that happened was we had an impromptu poetry reading - Robert W. Service, of course: "The Shooting of Dan McGrew" and "The Cremation of Sam McGee." I bet all the other bikers were jealous!

Have you read any of Neil's books The one after his loses was really depressing, but they are interesting reads.
Wow, sounds like a great time! I haven't had a chance to read them yet. I really want to read Ghost Rider though as soon as I get a chance. I didn't even know about Neil's losses until I bought the RUSH: In Rio DVD. I hated to hear about that. How he dealt with that and still kept going is beyond me. He's a great guy and one of the reasons I started listening to RUSH in the first place. IMHO all other drummers pale in comparison to him. He's known as The Professor for a reason!

And Alex? He needs to talk some sense into that boy of his as well as get his own head screwed on straight I think.

I still need to download Geddy's solo project. What little bit I heard of it on the radio was great.

There was one part of the flick where it got REALLY tense....
When the father was lit on fire, it started...and just kept gettin crazier
I'm a big horror flick fan, and for a remake, I was pleasantly surprised. Unlike some of the other remakes recently like Amityville and Texas Chainsaw which were total disappointments.

She had a good reason though, considering the stress level has gotten kinda elevated around the main board lately. From reading Ghost Rider, he had a rough time dealing. Once I read that book, I had to hurry on to read Traveling Music just to break the black mood and assure myself that he really did come back up out of the pit.

I loved My Favorite Headache (Geddy Lee's solo album for those of you out there who don't know what Leuthen and I are talking about).

We have that 30th anniversary dvd, but I haven't had time to watch it yet. I think I've spent all my free time on Lost for some time now.:)


ETA: As must as we all gripe about the Lost hiatuses, it could be worse. It seems like it is being about 5 years between Rush studio albums for some time now.

ETA2: Everytime I see Keifer Sutherland, it makes me think of Alex (when Alex isn't at his chunkiest).

I don't know if goAlvar is here right now. What kind of doctor is he/are you? PhD or medical? If PhD, in what? If medical, what specialty? And do you talk to your patients about Lost? (My dentist and his office are big Lost fans so that is always a topic of conversation at dental appointments.)

goA got out of med school about 4-5 months ago I believe. The medical system is a bit different in Turkey, so he's not sure how to explain to us right now what he is. Next month he is going to be taking a big exam which is going to decide what he'll do I guess. I believe he said he has to choose between being a surgeon and being a shrink, lol.

When I talk to him tomorrow I'll ask him to stop by and explain it for himself, it might make more sense if he does it and he could probably give a much better answer than I can for him. :p

OK, one last post for you Mac users out there. Not sure how many of you are using Mac's, but we now have our own DHARMA Countdown Clock for LOST (http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashboard/movie_tv/lostwidget.html). It's a widget that runs on OS X+. It's great and has all the sounds that we've seen from LOST. Don't let it run out or else........

LOL TS is great. we just moved up there about a year ago. We lived in Largo (or as I like to call it LARGHETTO) for about 14+ years. I actually loved the area in Largo I lived but hated my neighborhood....it was getting run down. I lived off of Vonn/Walsingham and near IRB. Where did you live? I used to work at a Travel Agency in Belleair Bluffs for about 6 or 7 years. Love that area!!

I was sound asleep by 2am!! Usually I'm up until around 1am since hubby gets home (when he is on time) at 12:30 and I'm catching up on all the tv shows I record. I used to need about 8 - 10 hours of sleep per day to feel normal but now if I get 5 or 6, I feel good. Of course on Sat and Sunday I nap and I take a loooonnnng one...well as long as my 3 year old stays asleep.
