Mika - I never tried satellite internet, but i hear it is fine. You hardly notice the reciever and it is low maintenance, you just have to tweak the tuning occasionally.

Trailgoat, I just say that I don't want to take away a much needed cover and source of nutrients. I hurt my back in the fall and still have leaves in the yard. It's a disgrace, BUT: Spring is when I like to do that stuff. I love cleaning out from around the hedges and forsythia, and pulling out the old hosta. I have two kneeling pads - I spend a lot of time on the ground! Before planting time, the kids make roads and bury treasure in the garden. Okay, no more coffee for me, and I'll stop now.

Rose, I love the spring yard work,too! I just spend too much time in here. And I am sooo sorry to here about your back injury. They are painful and take forever to heal. I spent 10 years rolling rocks around and never hurt my back (and nooo, I wasn't on a chain gang!). Then, doing some landscaping, I toss a stone and wham-o, hurt back. It has finally healed, thank goodness, but I am much more careful, now.

My friends and I have settled on our Lost plans for tonight: preceding the show with a home-cooked Thai dinner (complete with homemade Thai iced tea...have to go home-cooked because the only Thai place in this town closed a month ago :sadwalk:). Yes, my sons (ages 14 and 12) are obsessed with Lost, too. (I won't let my 4 year old watch for fear that she will pick up some new vocabulary from Sawyer.) I usually hear "it's Lost Day!" a lot on Wednesday mornings. We usually go to town on Wednesday and have lunch with my husband. We can easily spend the entire lunch time talking about the show and often do.

hey everyone - long time! Flight 213 was taking over my life. But I'm back to wish everyone a Happy LostDay. The Locke backstories have been awesome and I think this one won't let us down.

The following is a synopsis spoiler outline for Lockdown too much goes on tonight and I have too little time. Please be aware that my flashbacks are separate from real time.
All the Flashback
Lock has an engagement ring.
Plans a picnic with Helen so he can propose.
She sees his fathers Obituary so they go to the funeral.
Lock notices a couple of strange men and a silver car with dark tinted windows.
Lock now a home inspector does an inspection for a woman (Who I believe is Nadia) and is not married. He leaves and sees this silver car again.
It’s his father they have a drink together
His father had conned the two men at the funeral out of $700,000. He’s apologetic about the kidney says he was desperate.
Told Locke he could keep $200,000 if he can get the money out of the safety deposit bank for him. He’s leaving the country.
Lock gets the money goes home to Helen and the two men are there they question the two of them and check his backpack which just has papers in it. They leave and now Helen questions Lock.
He lies to her. He later goes to drop the money to his dad at the hotel (note the oceanic airplane landing) by the airport. Lock says he didn’t do it for the money but dad doesn’t really care about that.
Dad turns to leave and Helen shows up.
She followed lock and is devastated to find his dad there and she slaps his father.
Dad leaves the room.
Helen leaves the room Lock follows and proposes in the parking lot, she says no and leaves by herself in her own car.
Dad and taxi pull away.
Note: We do NOT find out how lock ended up in the wheelchair.

Real Time
Jack’s pissed at Henry’s last comment about the map and ambush he said he was just kidding. Jack yells at Lock to put him back in the armory and he leaves. Henry says “why do you let him talk to you like that?” Locke gets pissed and forcibly grabs Henry and puts him in the armory.
Jack ends up on the beach ultimately playing cards (poker) against Sawyer. The stakes are Jacks food for Sawyers Meds.
Jack ultimately wins.
Lock exercising hears static in a speaker he tries to fix it with tools and it’s a voice you hear a countdown and then the blast doors drop.
Locke dives with a crowbar and just manages to get it under the last door.
He gets help from Henry who was very strange in asking Locke to protect him no matter what happens.
They pry it open and use a tool box to hold the door up.
Locke tries to slip through and the pressure of the door is too much and comes down.
Pin from the door goes through one of his legs.
Henry must go through the pantry vent to stop the timer.
He falls and passes out gets up again.
Locke constantly yelling to him with no response.
(by the way Henry only needed to be told the numbers once and he memorized them)
Timer beeped one last time and everything stopped you could hear the symbols going.
Lights went out pitch black
Then Black lights came on and
On the blast door in front of Locke’s eyes was the coolest schematic/map (we definitely need an hdtv pic of this tomorrow.)
Then suddenly the lights came on and one by one the doors came up.
Lock finds Henry who claims to have done nothing except put the numbers in which reset the clock he was going back into the vents when the lights came back on.
Locke is grateful Henry didn’t leave him like his dad and Helen did.
Kate and Jack on the way to the Hatch when they saw a flashing beacon which turned out to be the food deliver via parachute at that moment Sayid, Charlie and Anna show up.
They did indeed find the Balloon and a Grave.

Jack asks what if anything had they found?
This gets answered back at the hatch while Locke is being grateful and being tended by Henry, Jack and everyone else show up.
Sayid ultimately dug up the grave and found a mans body. The person had a drivers license.
It was a black man and his name was ……………

Of course TI, there is a spoiler thread. I think some people post them here just because a lot of us don't venture out of the webmaze, the all's fair in love and the BBR. I hope that doesn't change, as everyone is being great about the spoiler tags, however, I suppose if there were a spoiler thread inside the webmaze, then we could discuss amongst friends. Don't know, just know that I venture into spoilers occasionally, and there is a lot of stuff that isn't useful there, and I know if on you guys posts it, it is good stuff!

Nobody has said you couldn't DANI. I don't really see a problem with it until a mod or a lot of people get upset. If it is spoiler tagged, they don't have to read if they don't want. There is at this time no rule that you can't post them in the BBR.

faith, I visit the spoiler thread too; however of late I've been visiting the spoiler thread at the 'lage instead. There are too many "OMG i saw the c00lest thing on the promo pics, did u see it???" types that post in our spoiler thread, IMHO. The posters that I trust (not mentioning names as it's easier to keep that to myself... no wars that way) spend a lot of their time correcting these folks. The spoiler threads at the 'lage seem to have more rules and more intelligent posters discussing what is spoiled.

General discussion, spoiler type stuff can go in BBR, as other sites open, if we need to start threads we will, but currently no need...... the Admins do not want us being our own LOST entity or sub-group too much, if we start threads that duplicate existing threads in GD, then we are crossing that line. I am one of the biggest preachers of "Be careful outside of Spin-off because of animosity" or whatever, but if you can't post it here or on a relevant webmaze thread, then discuss it on the thread in GD or T & S.

So..........General show discussion here, website related T & S on the appropriate webmaze thread.

Are you talking about the theory I put in spoiler tags this morning super? I didn't take it to T&S for several reasons, including that it was not a very involved theory, it was just and idea, and I just wanted to discuss it amongst friends. I could have posted it there because it wasn't based on any webmaze information, just some spoilers that I had read, mainly the one DANI posted days ago. What about it didn't make sense?

My Centavo's worth - T&S and even spoilers in the appropiate webmaze thread should be allowed. The webmaze by its very nature is nothing but theories and speculation. OWA and Flight 213 are Vincents theory and speculation on how he thinks the show is put together. If some of the theories or specs become spoilers, that is just good detective work. Spoilers for the actual episodes should be limited to the BBR with the spoiler tags. If by some chance an episode spoiler becomes very relavant to a particular maze, it will be posted most likely without spoiler tags. That is the nature of the webmaze beast.

This may be one one of the reasons they don't like us upstairs, the maze just doesn't fit clearly in "their" rule book.

As far as webmaze T & S, if a particular website becomes set up where it may need another thread for a theory or subsection, then by all means, go ahead, we have several OWA threads......during BSS, we had 2 or 3 threads.............and yungs Humbaba thread is still open in Spinoff right now as a "Webmaze T & S" type thread.

So, if needed, when needed, sure, make a new thread, but currently, at this moment, there really isn't need for any new ones.
