I love dogs! I have a golden retriever and her name is Madison. (She's almost 3, so I named her before LOST, but I did a double take when I saw who plays Vincent.) We call her Maddie. We also have a mutt named Cassidy. Maddie would probably lick you to death, but Cassidy is a major protector! No one had better mess with her humans.

Both times I got it while reading the forums. What's strange is that when it asked for a user name and password,the user name that is automatically inserted was a yahoo email address that I haven't used in years.
Microsoft Net Pass is a real thing, but you shouldn't be getting popups asking you to join unless you are trying to visit a site that uses Net Pass as their signin service. Have you tried checking that old yahoo account to see if someone has been trying to contact you there?

Actually, I went to that yahoo address, and it was so old that it expired. What's weird is that the program must be installed on my laptop, because I get the sign in pop up there. It must not be installed at work, because here I get the pop-up to install the program. My question is, why am I getting these in the first place, and does it have to do with these forums? I only get them (and randomly as far as I can tell) when I'm reading THIS forum.

I have been called to one of Alvar's secret hatches somewhere in Argentina. I can't be too specific though for obvious reasons! I will be leaving on Tuesday Jan 10th. and returning on Jan 20th. I am going to have so much reading to catch up on when I get back that I may never be able to post again!! Until I depart I will do my best to make with the funny and support King Alvar(though not in this thread).

1. Best Hair of the year: Without a doubt it has to be Kate. Jealous....me? yep.

2. Best Outfit of the year: Whoever thinks Sawyer didnt look hot in those many scenes without his shirt on is mental!

3. Best flashback of the year: Charlie's in The Moth! As a brit chick from manchester i have to say, it didnt look a thing like manchester but was wicked anyway!!!

4. Best one-liner of the year: I dunno about 1-liner but Hurley has had the best lines ever. 1) when he told Sawyer he looked like Harry Potter and 2) When he sang "I feel good" to turniphead (Aaron). PURE GENIUS!!!! Also Charlie's line sums up the whole of Lost for me "Guys.....where are we?"

5. Best occurrance of the numbers: Well, they seem to appear everywhere, but ive gotta say, when we first saw it on the Hatch, thats when everyone started thinking dude, watswith these numbers?

6. Best romantic relationship (on the island): Definately Claire and Charlie!! They go together so well!!

7. Best pre-crash career: 1 word, Hurley's. Come on man, he won the lottery!!!

8. Most tear-jerking scene: When Jack and Kate found Charlie hung! It was so moving! well done J.J!

9. Best appearance by a non-regular character: I liked Arzt. He had a few comic lines before he got himself blown up!!

10. Best episode: I do love them all but Ep 16 was a classic. The fight scenes were incredible!!!!

I just got the message again (Add a .NET Password to your Windows XP user account"). It occurred when I was in this topic (Boom Boom Room), and I had left my computer idle for about a minute. Lab5's post was showing although I'm not sure if it had to do with that signature. Just an update. Anyone else still experiencing this?

It really sounds like adware. You should get AdawareSE (from lavasoft.com or lavasoftUSA.com) and make sure you update it (globe on top). Spybot is another good program to rid of adware. these aren't virus', so virus protection won't help.

Not me Sun. I've never had problems with popups from this site ever.
You may want to download "AdAware" or "SpyBot". Those are spyware and adware removal programs. This will probably eliminate your problem.
I'd bet when you do your first scan you'll find TONS of crap.
Spyware and such comes from ALL over the net. It's almost impossible to avoid completely. Just keep updating the definitions for the programs and do routine checks and you should be fine! :D

It's a great group that I belong to. There are chapters all over the world. If you have usable items that you don't want/need anymore, you offer them to the group. You can also ask for items that you need. Check it out, it's pretty cool.

I am scanning with Adaware SE right now, thnaks for the names ralf, I ve always been afraid to use these packages, because they themselves are usually spyware.

I have no clue if that could be the problem here or not.

It had better not be from mine. I host mine on Ranchoweb, and I'm paying them for the service, so if they are throwing something onto my pictures I'd be very upset. (I'm sure they aren't though. Plus they've been around for a long time and I've never known anyone to have a problem with them.)

OK. This is what happened. Yesterday. I copied the OWA logo from the OWA homepage to My Pictures. I then tried to import it here, didn't work. So decided to try and host picture, and see if I could import it here. My computer defaulted to MSN photo host. I then tried to click and drag image over here and it just showed a little image symbol, but not the image itself, I tried again, no avail....I thought I selected the 2 image symbols and deleted them before resaving....apparently I didn't....so I just now went back in.....deleted the entire post and redid it......thus removing the bad links/images


Again....I am very sorry, ya'll...... It should not be any type of malicuous software or anything. I would imagine it was just your computers trying to pull the image from MSN hosting....again, my bad...... I know, photobucket, etc...... I don't usually host images, so it was new to me. I was starting to have a slight dreadful impression that it may be me, when my good friend aggie PM'd me......

This has nothing to do with the new OWA banner courtesy of leleana, do not get that impression. It was an altogether seperate OWA image.

I was thinking, from a skeptic's standpoint you could say that the people behind KCSP/Sn0wman simply saw "Life Extension Project" on thehansofoundation.org and took two characters we know are connected to Dharma and made an elaborate story out of it. Only they would want it semi-close to what is truly possible, right? Otherwise they might get a cease-and-desist from ABC...especially now that some of us pay for our text messages that go along with it.

Now, as I pointed out in both "my thread" and "your thread", the clones referenced in the latest sn0w post could, from a skeptic's point of view, simply be connecting Raelian logic (cloning is the first step towards life extension) to the maze. But think about it: this is SUCH A FAR OUT CONCEPT that to connect cloning with Craphole Island would be fanfiction to the extreme, and near criminal. Just look at how reluctant people here are to talk about that (I'm referring to posts in the Agents thread here).

If I were TPTB of Lost, and I saw cloning being connected to my creation when it had no reason to, I'd issue a cease-and-desist immediately. It's too controversial.

BUT...

If we see nothing about this in the next couple of days from a source we KNOW is connected with the actual show, nothing expressly saying that KCSP and Th3Sn0wman are fan creations, it would PROVE to me that this webmaze that's controlled many of our lives for the past week and a half is legit.

Mr. G you have to have the pic hosted on a webpage, like photoshack (i think that what most use), something that doesn't require a log in, then you link it.

Mr G., first you need to post the pic on a hosting site like www.photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com) (that's the only one I know really well, there are others too). You need to create an account but then it's free to upload pics.

Once the picture is uploaded, there is a box at the bottom that lists the URL for the post. Copy that text and come back here, open your sig and click on the yellow "mountain" icon; paste the URL in the box. This will allow you to see what the pic looks like, etc.

Rightclick the "Support" image and select save image. Make sure you save it somewhere you can find it easily (like desktop).
Then go to www.imageshack.us (http://www.imageshack.us/) and browse your CPU for the saved "Support" image file and hit "Host".
Then you'll get a bunch of options, you want the one that says "Direct link to Image". Copy that link by highlighting it and hitting Control-C.
Now go to your USER CP here and select Edit Signature.
Click on the yellow envelope with the mountains in it to Insert Image.
Then hit Control-V and that should paste the link there.
Then select Save Signature and you should be all set!!

Wow... agrillo, lab, those were some of the most intense 2 hours I've watched on tv in a while.
We don't have FX here, so I have to wait until CTV plays them.
They went on a break while playing holiday specials and stuff, so the last 3 episodes I'm presuming were the one last week with Ariel putting the bleaching cream on her face, the first one tonight where Kit accuses Quentin of being the carver, then the third when they accuse Liz and run off to Spain.
When Kit started talking about 'Violet' I was on to her. Those are two of the most disgusting people ever. I do not care that they are fictional, lol.
I'm sorry for this long post, but none of my friends watch it, so I have no one to discuss with, haha.
I felt so bad for Kimber. I cried as soon as I saw what they did to her. I couldn't belive how horrible it was. I hated that they blamed Liz, I felt so terrified for her.
Okay, I think I'll wrap this up now, it's gone on long enough. It's out of my system, lol.
Those were awesome episodes :D:D:D


ETA: Okay, it's not as long as I thought, so I will add this quickly. That stuff with Ariel's dad/Terry (I think that was his/her name)/Matt was absolutely insane. I couldn't believe my eyes.

Okay, so the photo is from a sandy area (bottom half of pic) walking towards the ocean which is cpmpletely hidden by trees, they are the dark scary evening trees - it was 5pm in December in Oahu, almost dark...

I am pretty sure that bighead was removed from the Threat Matrix simply because Candle was flooded with names of Alvar Symapathizers. Rather than have to make a constant issue to update (as they originally did).... I think they decided it was too tedious or long to do and just decided to take the easy way and remove any screen names from the TM. After all, they have Agent Numbers for everyone, not screen names, so when thet get emails saying "bighead is Hanso!", that doesn't translate to them as oh, ok, bighead is Agent xyz, lets block him or put on TM....... DID THIS DELERIOUS RAMBLE MAKE SENSE.....YOU GUYS KNOW WHAT i AM SAYING, SOMEBODY?


......oh, and btw, check out my addition to the first post of the Boom Boom Room, I added a menu and rules! Kinda funny but I would love to have some input from you Comedians for additions!
