Last summer I went skinny dipping (at night) in my little above ground pool. Suddenly, a bright light came on next door. It would have been alright, I was in the shadow, but I developed a horrible snorting laugh that I could not stop. Nothing happened; I don't think they wanted to know. I did tell the wife about it later, and she got a real charge out of it.

She was PISSED. I mean the car ride from point A to point B was like a half hour tops, but she growled and hissed (which she NEVER does), scratched the living hell outta my arms when I put her in the carrier, and then hid under my bed. She is still there, but she somehow managed to sneak out and eat while I was downstairs grabbin another beer.

I need to take a picture of the Easter egg I colored last night -- it's Nemo. Hee hee! The rest are just normal but I put stripes on the one egg and even drew a little face. I am such a little kid sometimes. (Ok, most of the time... ;))See, now that is friggin' cute! :p

It's best just not to try too much; the more I say, the crazier I know I sound. However, I too have a cool Mom, and when I told her I was now a "Lost Cause" yesterday, she knew it was something good.

ETA: I found out real fast not to reference some guy named "Truffula" when telling them things. Of course, at that point, I had read hundreds of Truff's posts and bowed to him in awe. But pulling that name out to justify something they already thought was a bit weird? Too funny.
