Welcome to the Boom Boom Room and cheers!
We hope you enjoy your stay!

MENU AND RULES LOCATED HERE, FEEL FREE TO RECOMMEND ADDITIONS!
BOOM BOOM ROOM RULES:
1) Feel free to post chatty and off topic comments in the Boom Boom Room. While not advocating being a post-whore, you don't have to feel constrained either. Feel free to carry on banter and conversation. We all love to chat, but we have a lot of action going on in the Threads, and clutter and chat contribute to longer threads with more pages. After being off for a while, you want to go onto a Thread and catch up quickly from where you left off. If we keep our chat to the BBR, it is much easier and quicker catching up on the action in the threads.
2)No bashing between sides of the 2005 Hanso/Candle battle. A truce remains in effect in the Boom Boom Room. Here all are friends and equals, not bitter enemies. :catfight: :mischievo
3)There are no other rules at this time.

FIRST TIME VIEWER, After reading this first post, you really don't need to try and read the whole thread. It is just banter, chat, and real time talk and analysis....fun, kareoke, drinking, cake, dancing cows, etc. Once you finish this post, feel free to skip to the current page of the thread and jump in whenever you like. You can usually find someone to help point you in the right direction with threads if your not sure where to look for something.

YAY - and we get another one!! The SouthPark Holiday greeting card!
How many of yal saw that? The ORIGINAL email greeting card that spawned South Park? The Jesus vs. Santa uncensored one. I think it was Xmas 1995. It was sooooo funny!

Yeah, I was aiming for Christmas at first...
Don't think I'll make it within the next 30 minutes, lol.
New Years it is now :D
LOL! When I first typed the post, I wrote Christmas, but then figured that still might be hard. That is, unless you wanna try and run, by current count, 63 posts in the next 28 minutes!

I hope I'm here for your 1000th ILE!
You realize you've accomplished something it took me months to do in mere weeks?!?!?
And like I said before, you are NO Post Whore!
Funny story, for kicks, I was reading through the original OWA/KCSP thread from the beginning. I saw ILE's first posts. To see how far you've come in such a short time....very good Watson, my padawan. :D
That thread was NUTS!!! Especially the VDM stuff, soo cool!
Peace,
Truff
ILoveEko
12-25-2005, 04:43 AM
LOL.
Yeah, my first posts were in confusion over the sites, and I remember when I found the thread in use, I got a response from you, Truff, along the lines of "Very good, grasshopper"
Haha.
It's been a great few weeks, and it will continue to be so.
And I hope you're here for it too Truff. Why wouldn't you? LOL.
My luck though, I'll just keep posting without noticing and it will be some stupid ass post, lol.

12-25-2005, 04:55 AM
When I hit 1000, I feared posting the closer I got. I know it sounds anal(ucia). But this is the first and only forum I post at (okay I have like 15 posts at Fuselage), and I wanted the BIG ones to really count.
I think you're gonna hit 1000 before NYE though ;)
Peace,
Truff
ILoveEko
12-25-2005, 04:59 AM
Yeah same.
I'm guessing around the 28-9th.
Btw, loved the "anal(ucia)"
Too funny :p
OWA/KCSP started it for me as well.Hanso was just an added bonus! All I know, is I have folders and folders worth of pages on my favorites........ah, the Maze!
And we also have the posts forever in our threads of our live contacts with some of the creators. Ongoing while we cracked their sites! Live interaction at its best! Awesome!
truffula
12-25-2005, 05:06 AM
lab, we should compare notes sometime. :D
You may be able to help with the NEW Webmaze Map.
I need exact dates for some of the updates; most of it is archived here in one of the threads, but there are still some holes.
That and my "visual aide" is lacking. It's too plain so far (just the site names and some colored lines connecting them accordingly). I want the actual "visual" Map to look really cool.
Who wants to help?
Peace,
Truff
ILoveEko
12-25-2005, 05:08 AM
I have exact dates for the last few Mr. Clucks image changes. I think those are the only dates I have, lol. And you probably have them, lol.
But I have images for the cooridnates that used to be on www.globespotter.com and images of Aralai and stuff.
truffula
12-25-2005, 05:15 AM
The coodinates offered on globespotter/aralai is something I do NOT have.
ILE, if you don't mind (when you get the chance) send those over via PM.
I have the Island images, but I must've started saving them once the coodinates disappeared.
See how the discussions became so intense that it was very easy to overlook something?
I'm gonna send a copy of the VDM Chapter of the new webmaze to the man, Vincent Madison, to make sure he corraborates all the info too.
I need someone with photoshop who has been following the webmaze...jocko...I think this may have your name written all over it...
Peace,
Truff
ILoveEko
12-25-2005, 05:17 AM
Yeah, I've got Photoshop too, but I don't have anough skill with it to make anything worth seeing, lol.
As for the coordinate pics, I'll go try to send them to you now.
truffula
12-25-2005, 05:24 AM
The first thought I had was to have a MAP, like Rousseau's Island map (or maybe aralai) as a faded background image, and then have the websites and the color coded connector lines come from points on the Island.
It wouldn't make sense cause there's portions of the Island that have yet to be explored, but just for the sake of having a cool visual tool...
I have some programs that might allow me to do this, but we'll see.
I do promise this - the New Webmaze Map will BLOW AWAY the first one.
Peace,
Truff
ILoveEko
12-25-2005, 05:29 AM
Alrighty, Truff.
Coordinate images have been sent on over your way :)
Hope they're helpful somehow, lol.
I haven't got photoshop, sorry I can't help on this one, wasn't ignoring the discussion......
yeah, wheres jocko?
.......probably has just settled down for a long winters nap!

How about this for an idea? You could make your background picture a patchwork of stuff (maybe even like a mini checkerboard?)... the island, Alvar, Marvin, Vinnie (well, maybe an oceanic plane), Mr Clucks..... and make each piece go to the relevant site(s). Well whatever you come up with I'm sure it'll be awesome... and if you need somewhere to host it let me know and I'll put it on my site.
Merry Christmas everybody and keep counting down to Jan 11th. Vinnie, if you wanted to put something nice in my stocking, you'd be the best secret santa. :D

Truff, awesum guide thru the maze. You're way more organized than I, I can't make much sense of my own notes. This helps out greatly. Even though I check here throughout the day, I miss alot and this fills in the blanks.

Not a problem Khisanth, it was my pleasure!!
We're hoping to have our NYE show online in weekly updates shortly after the new year (and NYE is always a HOT night for us, it'll be worth checkin out ;))
I see you've already posted in my new Map thread, glad you liked it!
I've been scouring over it since the Hodag "incident", glad it's finally done.
I figured today would be a good quiet day to get others caught up before the shnit starts hittin the fan again in a couple of days....and then, where are we....17 days including today til NEW LOST!?!?!?
Evil Hiatus has gone by lightning fast so far for me, don't know about yal.

You do a great job of keeping everyone up to date on the maze. Without you and ILE (and many others), I'd be even more Lost. Hence you both got several of my votes.
Yea 17 days to go, 19 til my b-day. New Lost for a gift YEA! I kinda look for something to happen at one of the numbers days to go. Like 15 days to go, 8 days to go, 4 days to go. I will try to be even more diligent watching the maze sites.
I'll be watching the band's site for new updates. Good stuff and that can't be said about most new rock on the stinkin radio.
Evening all!!! Had a super crappy day, but just wanted to wish everybody Merry Christmas!

WAssup KHISANTH! Merry Christmas to ya! Mine has just been bad because I just bought a new car 2 months ago, and it died on the highway today in the middle of nowhere. Lab - the SAME thing happened to me and my brother during Thanksgiving - I feel your pain!!
I don't know how bad it was for you but we were in 10 degree weather for over 2 hours with no heat on the highway in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night waiting for AAA to show up.
I wrote down the whole tale in the "I'd like to share something with you" thread in Lostaways. It was a freaking NIGHTMARE.
I hope you didn't experience anything close to that!!!
I am chillin in my new DHARMA hat and OCEANIC T-Shirt, feeling quite stylish. And my mom LOST it when she opened up her S1 DVDs from me.
Thinkin bout watching a movie over here....waitin for the rest of the group to finish up with the fam and log in (cause you know how addicted to this we all are!! ;))
Peace,
Truff
YEAH, THAT STORY HELPS TRUFF!
I was only out for about an hour, borrowed my little sisters car, gonna call the dealer tomoorow! They BETTER pay to tow from parking lot its in now, pay for my rental, and pay to get it fixxed! ARGGGGGGGGGGGHHH! SO ANGRY!
Thanks for the story and support though.
Moms is a Lost fan, huh? Thats so cool!
I was thinking about busting out Season 1 myself right now.
Cool on the gear, I was thinking about getting an Oceanic shirt myself. Where did you get it? E-Bay?

Small world. Hoo-ah. I was in 50th SIGBN 35th SIG BDE. Smoke bomb hill area near SOCOM. Remember TDY Ted? I was in from 90-94 all at Bragg 'cept AIT and Jump School. <<<Slips left>>>>
SLIP AWAY! Always turn left to avoid collision! The lower jumper has the right of way!
Thats awesome, Khisanth! Small world! Yeah, I know right where you were. I was at Gruber/ Bastogne....3rd and 4th Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment.....2nd Brigade....82nd Airborne Division! Small, small world!

I'm sure I ran past that area on a RUN or 2 or 20. Was there anywhere I didn't run past on all of Ft Bragg???
Yeah, man, I think about that all the time......we were some runnin mofos at that place huh? I swear I ran all over that place!!!!! Gotta have 1000s of miles in by now!
But, nowadays............................please........ ........

I was thinking about busting out Season 1 myself right now. I'm just about to click "play" for Tabula Rasa. :D
ETA: It's so weird to see them before they were sexy and scruffy! LOL.
Saywer without his longer hair, Locke with fresh eye slash, lol.
Jin being a total dick towards Sun. I forgot how much I hated Jin when the show started. Now he's one of my faves! :p
Edit: Woohoo!!! 4 months later and I caught a typo and fixed it!! Hehe.
ILoveEko
12-26-2005, 03:44 AM
Reading through that, when I read this:
"KD", and "AH" (presumably for Karen DeGroot and Alvar Hanso)
I thought of Kate Dodd (one of the names she's gone by, lol).
I mean, if it's Dharma related it makes sense to be Karen, but Locke's name was there before, so it could be Kate.

12-26-2005, 04:22 AM
Lab, ILE....yal know where to find the easter eggs right? They're posted here somewhere, but if you have trouble finding them, I'll PM em to you.
And be sure to check out Matthew Fox's Art from Disc 7.
And the commentary for Ep 1 and 2 from JJ and Damon.
What a GREAT DVD set!!!
Don't forget to look for clues in Ray Mullen's house, ILE!! ;) (jk)
ILoveEko
12-26-2005, 04:38 AM
Haha.
I'm onto Walkabout now.
I don't know where the Easter Eggs are, but I'll go try to find the post(s) with them later or something.
Matt Fox's photographs were awesome. I absolutely loved them.
I watched 85% of disc 7 earlier, but then my brother wanted to watch some epi's, so I started from the beginning and am going to work me way through, hehe. :p
ETA: And the "Lost Chronicles" book seems pretty good.
Haven't read it yet, but I skimmed through it after I opened it. Looks like it will be a nice read. A refresher after watching everything. :)
truffula
12-26-2005, 04:43 AM
I remember watching Exodus 2 on my DVDs right before S2 started...I actually waited to watch that Ep til then. I scoured the rest of the set, but I really wanted to save that one for right before S2E1 (even though ABC broadcated it - the DVDs are just SO much nicer!).
ILoveEko
12-26-2005, 04:52 AM
Yeah, it's nice to have if you need to go back and double check stuff :p
ETA: I can't believe how emotional I am watching it though. The tail section breaking off and the plane going down was hard for me to watch. And when Jack confronts Rose about her missing Bernard, I nearly cried. With so much emotional investment in the characters, it's hard to watch them go through that shit again, lol.

12-26-2005, 05:00 AM

And good lord, the raft setting sail!!!!
That one gets me every time.

And on I go to disc TWO. :)
ETA: And I wanna add that I really miss Walt, lol. I know so many people don't like him, neither did my friends who watched Lost, but I love the kid. LOL.
truffula
12-26-2005, 05:12 AM
Are you KIDDING!?!? Walt is one of the best parts about the show!!
When he made the rain stop in Tabula Rasa, I knew this kid was gonna be a HIT!! Now he can talk backwards. What other tricks does Walt have up his sleeve for us (besides talking to us on bss1 ;))
ILoveEko
12-26-2005, 05:22 AM
LOL.
I know, I don't understand why people don't like him.
I actually don't dislike anyone on the show.
Actually, for now, and probably a while, I dislike Ana.
Like, really dislike.
I'm super good with my Saywer and Eko though. Super good. Haha.
yung23

I think you should incorporate the energizer bunny into your avatar..
truffula
12-26-2005, 05:31 AM
Haha - you ladies and Sawyer and Eko!!
I don't dislike anyone on the show, but you know they're ALL not gonna make it. And right now Ana is #1 on the hitlist.
When Kate said "This place is crazy" in S2E9, I couldn't have agreed more!!
And Evie's delivery gave me the shivers.

She's an amazing actress, it's hard to believe this is her first role.
I've seen veteran actresses with not nearly as much depth and power as she conveys over the screen.
As for :heartpump:love2:Saywer and Eko:love2::heartpump...
LOL.
I adore their accents, lol. Although, when I heard Adewale's real voice on the podcast, I was surprised, lol. I had heard him Nigerian and American (in Get Rich or Die Tryin') but never with his normal Brit accent, lol.
Same with Naveen. Heard him on the View once and was kinda shocked, lol, even though I knew in advance.
The accents are just hot, lol.
Naveen's Iraqi accent is nice too :p
Now you got me started!
Haha.

Adawale Akkinuoye Agbaje is a FANTASTIC actor!!! (I hope I got his name right!) I was shocked to hear his thick british accent in the podcast too.
There are some happenings at OWA if yal are interested....

I say this to all yal involved in the Webmaze in ANY way -
If you thought what has happened in the past three weeks has been crazy -
You Ain't Seen NOTHING yet!!!!
It will get more and more intense each day that we grow closer to the Return Of Eko.
Starting right now.
I mean, really, I don't think I got my point across here...those who were around for KCSP opening up, and VDM posting with us, and the Hodag "confession", yeah, those were AMAZING moments....BUT...
How about one of those Dham Dharma sites opening up? Or maybe even a NEW SITE to the Maze?!?!?
Something REALLY BIG is gonna happen here before Jan 11th.
Mark my words.
Peace,

As someone who came to this place late just want to say thanks for this. Still got to read it properly. So I just got back from seeing KING KONG - and it was AMAZING!!!!
A little long, but totally worth sitting through (it's a 3 hour runtime).
The fight scenes with the T-Rexs and the Empire State Building scene will go down as two of the most intense things I've EVER seen on film.
Naomi Watts delivered an incredible performance too (I don't know about Jack Black though, he's too typecast for this role).
Did anyone see Peter Jackson and his daughter?
I couldn't find Pete (he LOVES putting himself and his kids in at least one shot in all of his films) but I saw his daughter walk by right at the beginning.
And on top of this movie being FIERCE, I hear that within 3 months, Jim Cameron is gonna implement his New 3d technology to it!!!
And STAR WARS is next!!!

Not sure if anyone else has seen this yet. So here goes.
I'm screwing around with the emri site, and I think I'm making some progress.
It's different each time, but my last conversation went something like this:
Me: Hello?
>: Who can you see?
Me: I see no one. It is dark. Who can you see?
>: Are you sure you see no one?
Me: I see Apollo. Who can you see?
>: You see Apollo. Interesting. Ok.
Me: Where Am I?
>: (and then I got this google map of the numbers used as coordinates).
Starting with "Hello?" gets the ball rolling nicely. But where to go beyond that, still workin on it. If my notes get too big, I may start up a thread on this site so the others don't get all the clutter.
More to come.
Peace,
Truff

Perhaps Vincent killed the bird, not Walt, out of his devotion to the boy.

Also keep in mind, the writers are in California, thus they may hit the enter key that sends all of the updates to the servers as they are about to leave work. That would account for the 8:00PM EST craziness. Then they drive home and log on to their sites and watch the insanity as we all scramble to make sense of it all. Now, if these people were all in Hawaii and did it as they left work, we East coasters would be totally screwed since they are even later. I think its 5 hours now with daylight savings in effect...that would suck!

riders - Just in case you don't understand what Lab is sayin,
I got an email from Dr. Candle of KCSP on Dec 18th telling me that things would get interesting 4, 8, and 15 days before the new episodes here in the US and Canada.
Today is 15 days before the new Episode.
This is why I feel something BIG is gonna go down.
We'll see.

Sorry, riders, didn't mean to sound cryptic, yes, what Truff said, the dates. And what time, may I ask, is it in lovely New Zealand right now?
Bighead, Never thought of it that way, but yup, could be West Coast. And the Hawaii thing always got me on the Dharma Inc/BSS1 thing, because the time you would think he was supposed to be at work, he would be online with us....If there was stuff coming from Hawaii, it would be like, what 2 or 3 am on the East Coast? Something like that.

Okay, I'm gonna take this one WAAAAY out there.
Since the Doc FAILED to hook it up today (at least for us on the East Coast of the US), I offer you this:
The Doc said things would get very interesting 4, 8, and 15 days before the new eps. Now it was pointed out that 23 days left, we were "given" the steganography hint from Hodag/Seabass.
And today, rottenralf cracks EMRI.
Is someone Remote Viewing us????
How the hell do they know when we're gonna dig up this crap!!??!!
I wonder if the "things are going to get very interesting" is the knowledge of the direct connection between Bss1 and Emri.
That works for me if that's the case.
But still.....how did THEY know?!?!?
Peace,
Truff
ILoveEko
12-28-2005, 05:15 AM
Maybe it wasn't able to be cracked until today, and Ralf was just the lucky one to do it first.
and I personally expected to see more from KCSP.......it has really been a while since their last meaningful update.......hmmm..
truffula
12-28-2005, 05:22 AM
I don't know ILE. The EMRI site has been there for a while, we've just paid no real serious attention to it until yesterday. The "answer" was there on Dec 19th at the latest as far as I can tell from their update log.
I'm becoming so paranoid I don't know what to do with myself ;)
It's all just happening TOO perfectly. Something is suspicious to me here....now I just have to put my finger on what.
But still, Ralf RULES for being the firstto crack the emri site!!
And if we Webmazers ever get an "awards" thing like the MLHTY awards, it HAS to be the "EMRIs"!!!
Peace,
Truff

He's gonna get another email from me before I pass out, that's for sure!
