If your in Ireland or even the UK(if you have digital or satelitte or whatever) season 2 begins Febuary 6th. I saw it on my teletext this morning.

Are any of ye UKers gonna watch it on RTE2? It'll be a while before it gets on Channel Four again.

I've haven't heard of RTE2 channel before, so I'm not sure that we receive it England. (No doubt that I'd watch it if it were an option though.)


Can anyone confirm whether we receive it in England via SKY digital or cable tele?

I have Sky Digital here in Ireland and all the Irish stations are on it so It shouldn't be different. I mean we get BBC1 and 2 on it so you should get RTE1 and 2 aswell.

I cant wait man for this ep, it'll be five months since we last saw an ep so Im hyped.

We don't get that channel. And I'm pretty sure it'll be later than February for season 2. They said Spring, so I'm guessing around about April-ish.

Are you guys definitly sure that RTE2 is not on Sky Digital? or even any other digital thing? come on it has to be.

RTE two is available on Skydigital channel 268. Those who are unable to pick it up, could try searching for it via the systems setup function. Search google, it should tell you how.
However, i am not too sure that viewers in England will be able to watch the new series. Sky usually blocks out any new or exclusive programs that the English broafcasters hold.
For example, i cannot watch the live premiership matches that RTE2 shows on a saturday because they are blocked, even though i live in Ireland. However for a tv show, it may be different.
If it doesnt work, i strongly recommend bittorrent!

I have sky digital over here and channel 4 and itv dont come with it unless I type in a special code in the services section. It could be the same with getting rte2 over in the uk.

On the second page of this thread, hughjay said that its on channel 268 for sky digital viewers. So try it.

For me(on sky digital) to get some englsih stations like ITV1 and Channel4 that weren't on my subscription, I had to type in a special code in the services menu in 'add channel'. If thats true for you guys too to get our channels, I dont know what to codes are. Hope that helps.

I always thought people in the UK get irish channels. Thats kind a sad. I think people on the west coast of the UK like Wales and that area can receive our channels(ya know being so close to us and all).
