Romanian actress Monica Barladeanu, has announced during an interview for Apropo TV magazine that she is to meet with representatives of Warner Bros and FOX studios.
Shortly after the "Lost" episode in which the Romanian actress stars and after her agent was contacted by the casting staff for the "desperate Housewives" series, Barladeanu said she had made appointments with Warner Bros and FOX representatives as well as with those of television channels including CBS. However, she denied having signed any contract with any of them. She also said she is currently represented by Darryl Marshak, the first agent of Leonardo DiCaprio. Barladeanu also said she would have agreed to star in "Lost" for free because "the experience and later advantages weigh more than the fee." Maybe you misunderstood my post. What I was saying is that article said she (Gabriela) played a character married to an older man. The only older man was her father, not her husband, so I was wondering if the writer of those words was watching the same show I watched. I don't recall them ever showing Gabriela having a husband be he younger, older, or alien.

Monica: After my first audition, the casting director said, "You're the first person who understands the character." I auditioned for it four times.
