Hey, this is just a message to everyone here. "Firefly" by Joss Whedon was one of those shows that was cancelled before it's prime. It was screwed over by Fox and cancelled after only a hanfull of episodes that were aired out of order and in random time slots. However, the fans have ressurected it. The entire season is now avaliable on DVD (13 episodes in order) and a feature length movie called "Serenity" is coming out next year to continue the story. I only got to see two episodes on T.V. before it got canceled so I was mad. Then I bought and watched the entire boxed set and I was furious!! Then I saw that the movie was going to happen and now I am waiting in hopeful anticipation. Why does T.V. suck so much now days??

I feel your pain! You've missed on a truly awesome show. I hope you can get the DVD set - it seems to have lots of extras, from unaired episodes to commentary.

Oh my Lordy! I just loved this show! can't wait for the movie... (hopefully if it does well, joss can shop it around to the networks again and get it picked up!) I own the dvd collection and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who enjoys quirky humor and all around coolness :D

I was just talking to someone about this show. I am a huge Buffy/Angel fan but for some reason I never got into FIREFLY. I would consider going to see the movie though.
