American Idol starts in January, I think. The results shows are on Wednesdays. As much as I liked AI, I am not giving up watching Lost. Anyone else think this will hurt Lost?

I am worried about Deperate Housewives kicking Alias outta its time slot when it returns.. but I think DH will be over by then. And it just hit me that Lost will probably be winding down by then too...

No... I remember being worried about this, but IIRC, the American Idol results show airs at 9 or 930... after Lost.

I don't watch AI, but a friend of my sisters will be on AI. She goes to her high school.

The results show is the least important of the weekly AI shows. We've seen them all sing by then, we can just check a message board to see who got the boot.

AI keeps getting worse and worse. After season 2 they just couldn't get better than clay, so they went downhill. ha I am not worried.

So true! Anyone from season 3 that had a chance was booted off in the first couple of episodes of the top 10, it was ridiculous.

Are you looking forward to Clay's Christmas album? woot!

But yeah, just like I gave up Smallville, I will not be giving up Lost for any other show unless Lost takes a serious wrong turn and goes to the crapper. But I don't see that happening any time soon.

I can't stand to watch AI anymore but Lost WILL be on against Clay's Christmas special on Dec 8 and I'm freaking out. My stupid VCR died and I can't tape them both! Something needs to happen to my VCR situation soon. Don't make me choose between Lost and Clay! I...... I just can't do it.

*shudders while huddled in corner*

But I for one will not be watching AI over Lost.

I used to LOVE American Idol, but after the voting problems of last season, I don't think I'll ever watch it again.
