I thought I'd introduce myself here. As you'd imagine, my first and foremost reason to watch LOST was "Dom." Now that I've watched a few episode I can say without any hangups that I'd be watching ...for a while.

Hello, all! I'm Melissa, but y'all can call me M. I'm representin' from the great Granite State of New Hampshire in northern New England. I've been a Dominic Monaghan since I first saw him years ago on Mystery in "Hetty Wainthrop Investigates" with Patricia Routledge (Hyacinth Bucket on Keeping up Appearances for those who recognize her name but can't place her. Brilliant, BRILLIANT comedienne). The fact that he went on to be Merry in LotR was gravy!

Ever since Lord of the Rings, I've considered myself contractually obligated to see everything the actors/actresses do from hereon out, be it movies, television, or stage (though that last one is tricky and probably a pipe dream more than anything). So I KNEW I was going to watch Lost before I knew anything about it. I'm proud and pleased to say that I am hopelessly addicted to the entire series, and EVERY character, though Charlie is the top of my list in my constantly rotating "Top Four Favorite Characters" poll. LOL!

So... yes. The end! :D

PS -- With apologies to the dear, sweet Billy Boyd and the wonderfully creepy Brad Dourif, there is NO WAY I am going to see Seed of Chucky. *shudder* Knife wielding puppets that bleed? Not my thang. LOL!

I'm here in North Carolina.

I came to Lost because I was a Roswell fan (well I got into it after it came out on DVD but I did seriously question why I never actually watched it when it was on TV) and knew Emilie de Ravin was going to be on Lost. But I'm quickly coming to love Dom and the character of Charlie. He's just got something about him that draws you in. This is definitely a fantastic show.

Wow, did you pull those numbers out of your head? Actually, the first employer that popped into my head was FedEx, because there are so many pilots that live here and fly out of Memphis. My actual guess though is the PO, just because I was a Post Master when I lived in South Dakota and I had all of those numbers in my head back then.

I promise that I'll start spreading the word today.
