Me & my girlfriend waited in line for an hour yesterday to vote at an early voting poll station. I'm in Florida and you could definitely feel an "energy" in the line.

mailed in my absentee ballot about 2 weeks ago...good times.
:hat
Voting for Kerry later today. Two party system sucks but we really need a change. When Bush won 4 years ago I figured it wouldn't be that bad.. I was wrong!

My polling place is like next door, the new system is pretty cool. eSLATE. It looks like a big palm pilot. Anywho I voted in the last election and I felt like I made a difference, I hope the same goes for this one.
Also, please let's not say who you're voting for, we don't need this post to turn in a nasty political debate. I just think it's important that we all vote, especially all of us well educated LOST fans. ;)

I'm in DC..it's all going to kerry. there is DEFINITELY a surge in the air. i love it. There have been reports of huge lines in MD and VA. I waited for a hour and a half. I think the pollsters didn't count on the 18-29 year age group coming out in force. i have a good feeling it's going to make a difference.:rollin

I did not vote for multiple reasons...one of the major ones being that I didn't consider EITHER candidate to be adequate repsresentatives. Although both sides did express beliefs that I could agree with, both sides also had glaring holes in their "sides" and political tactics which I did not feel are good representative qualities. Neither candidate was worthy of me excercising MY rights in THEIR favor.

I voted for Kerry, even though he lost. I hope that this gives a strong message to Bush, though that half of us don't like what he stands for.
I voted (sorry late on the poll). I'm a democrat and voted for Kerry. Sad to see him lose but hoping that something positive will come out of it.

Voting's the stuff.
Remember that if you don't want to vote for any of the party choices, you send a stronger message by casting a write-in vote than if you just stay home.

I voted the last day of early voting. I stood in line for 2 1/2 hours.
But if you don't vote, then you don't have the right to complain about how the country is being run. But not everyone has the RIGHT to vote, so we should exercize our right.

Man, I hate it when people say they didn't vote because they didn't like *either* candidate. There were more than two, you know. Up to six, I beleive.
I personally voted Badnarik.

I think my mom said there was 8...
What party was Badnarik?
Check it out: www.sorryeverybody.com/gallery/1/ (http://www.sorryeverybody.com/gallery/1/)
Badnarik was the Libertarian Party Candidate and the one I voted for, simply because his platform made the most sense...

I am late to this board and yes I voted. I went first thing in the morning so I only had to wait in line about 30 minutes. I have no problem telling you who I voted for since it makes no difference now. I voted for Kerry.

Well, so many others ignored the rule and stated they voted for Kerry. I voted, and for Bush at that. Now, before you shoot me down, let me give you my reasoning. BOTH parties made a huge issue out of Iraq. The main point made by the democrats was the number of deaths and injuries to our soldiers, a solid point to be sure. So, since it was our soldiers we were all concerned about, I thought it was only right to vote for their choice of a commander-in-chief. All polls of military people I could find overwhelmingly thought Bush was a better commander that Kerry would have been. I know that isn't true of all military, but it is of the ones I know personally, ones that are in Iraq. If these guys are going to put their lives on the line, I think they need to have the leadership they trust most. Therefore, I voted Bush.

I couldn't vote cause I'm not old enough. I'll be 20 by the next election. So then I can vote.
And if I was able to vote... I wouldn't tell you who I would vote for cause this board seems to slant to the left side of the spectrum... (*hides away*) eep.
