Any suggestions for passing a drug test without studying??

I checked the rules, and there's nothing against a post about this topic. (If I'm wrong, just let me know!)

OK- my employer has just announced a new random drug testing policy. I've been known to indulge in herbal remedies from time to time and would welcome suggestions about the best ways to detox. There are lots of websites that sell products for detox- what is the best way?

If you get caught claim it was second hand smoke so you can get your olympic gold medal back. Also, are they testing to see if you were high while at work or high within the last week, 'cause what business is it of their's what you do during your evenings and weekends?

Cannabis can stay in your system up to a month. It's a fat soluble drug, that's why it can be in your system so long. I have no idea how to get it out of your system, other than exercise and drink lots of fluids.

I have a couple of suggestions most eggzellant, but of course we wouldn't want to give away trade-secrets to just any moron, knowin dey be coat-turners in da midst. (you know, the type? they always point da finga at the other guy? hear de big traps runnin in da break room, type? can't handle the heat so dey blow da whistle-type? them squeals, i mean seals it's all slippery to me. ) Oh sorry, ha ha, that waz fun.

Got tons of tricksada trade, but of course these are all secondhand. I'm kinda like jesus, i hang out wid duh loserz and such.

That's exactly how I feel, Plane Jane! This raises a number of issues, including privacy, Fourth Amendment violation, and discrimination. I'm thinking about contacting the ACLU, to get their opinion. Doing some research, I found an interesting study, here's an excerpt:

"The journal SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN [4] cited a study of workers at two utility companies: Utah Power & Light and Georgia Power Company. The workers who tested positive for illicit drugs were found to (a) cost employers $215 less per worker per year in health insurance, and (b) have a higher rate of promotion. Work- ers testing positive for cannabis only had an absentee rate 30% lower than average. The logical conclusion: illicit users were less costly to employers while at the same time being more productive and reliable. More for less! -- now there's a deal."

Well, as someone who may or may not be in the know...

I suggest drinking a LOT of liquids prior to said drug test. Juices or things like that seem to work the best. What you're trying to do is flush out your system to dillude the trace of any drug you may be carrying in your body.

What type of job do you work at where they give random drug tests? That's messed up.

I work at a school but I don't do anything directly with the kids- it's all administrative. We all had to have background checks- fingerprints and everything, but there's never been drug testing. I'm not sure if the boss is really going to do it this time. She's heard that a teacher at one of our centers is smoking pot (not at work!), so now my boss is on a crusade...

All I can say is drink water ( beer won't help you) and pee like crazy!

Make sure you also take mega vitamins if you are trying to dilute your urine as they can tell that also. I think some of the OTC treatments can be tested for also. There is some good info on a site by NORML (I think that's it and not to be confused with NAMBLA).

I'd @#%$ quit if I were you. What the @#%$ does your employer care how you spend your free time? If my boss ever forced me to take a drug test, I would walk out...even though I'd pass. I've never used illegal drugs, but fully support people's right to do so. I'm shocked that less people aren't appalled that drug use in this country - the "land of the free" - is illegal. Our founding fathers would be ashamed.

Frank- I agree with you. I hate the idea of being told what I can or cannot do in my own home. I've decided that I will not be tested. If my boss wants to fire me over it, then I clearly need to look for other employment!

Your local head shop will carry a variety of products. The liquid based stuff I am familiar with from back in the day, the powders and pellets I'm not familar with. The good news is that it works, the bad news is that it doesn't taste very good.

Hey Mike- I've done a little checking about the liquid stuff, but am afraid that it might be detectable. Then I thought, "screw it- I just won't take the test!" I'm such a rebel (not!). Thanks everyone for the advice-

Drink plenty of Fluids and go to the store and buy some "Goldseal"

I also have a friend that drank a bottle of Pickle juice the day before and passed with no problem. *yuck* But it works...

I haven't done anything since I was in Highschool, SO I have nothing to worry about :D IMO you should just give it up, but to each his own.

Jeffro, my reality is just fine, thanks. The issue for me is invasion of privacy and personal rights. Please don't judge others, unless you are living a perfect life! Like BigDog said, "to each his own".

Just an FYI, someone told me that chamomile tea will pop a positive, as well as poppy seeds, so maybe if your remedies don't work, you'll have an out.

Okay, are you talking about taking a test about drugs? Or are you talking about having to pass a drug test that is testing whether or not you have taken drugs?

If we are talking about the second one, well I don't think studying will help.

Not sure about herbal remedies, but I smoke pot and I ALWAYS drink allot of water. And at the bank I work at they pop us quite a bit, always came through like a champ.

Drug tests are notoriously unreliable, like several people have already stated. If you eat anything with poppy seeds you'll test positive. We have random drug tests at my work (which I have passed despite smoking pot), but most of the time the person who gets "busted" for drugs is legally taking a prescription drug that comes up on the test. So my company ends up suspending the person for three days, confirms they are allowed to take this drug, then has to pay them for the three days they were suspended. It's ridiculous!
