While perusing the http://www.losthatch.com site, I came across the following about Ana-Lucia's relationship with Goodwin:
"Ana-Lucia awakens to find Goodwin staring longingly at her."
And they add this photo for good measure:

Is it possible that Goodwin had been attracted to Ana-Lucia during those first 23 or 24 days?

Why not? Goodwin seams to be a guy that would try to take advantage of anybody he came across. Since AL is beautiful and attractive he might have been distracted by that...

It's probably not that often that the others comes across a young, beautiful woman like her. I meen, they seam to be a bunch of dirty rednecks hanging out in the forrest.

I have to agree with Hodge on this. No way! If you'll remember their confrontation, he obviously found her - and anyone else not "good" - vile so I don't believe he'd touch her with a 10-foot pole. And if the guy in bed with you is looking at you like he is in this picture, be sure to change the locks just as soon as you can get him out the door!

When I rewatched the episode, I saw it as if he was trying to figure out if she was onto him...he might have known that she was a cop (seeing as how the kidnapping others appears to know a lot about the losties), and cops should be better at telling when people are lying.

Oh yeah he was. I definitely think so (not to the point that he wouldn't kill her if he had to) but yes, he was attracted to her.

He probably was attracted to her, but was also hoping she hadn't found him out.
