Okay. When the hell are we going to meet the guy that Jack and Locke dragged out from under the airplane in the pilot. Remember? the guy whose leg was lost but Jack later said he amputated it and the guy was fine. Well ... when are we going to meet him.

We ALL know how important random limbs are on this show and how losing the use of them fits into this show, well dangit, we should learn about this guy and why it would be ironic that he lost his limb.

TPTB, i dont ask much, but i want to meet the man who lost his leg. Plus, if there is a survivor walking around with one leg, dont you think the surivivors would talk about him more often ... like:

"Hey, One-legged-Fred fell again!"
or
"That One-legged-Fred! Always such a kidder!"
or
"look at One-legged-Fred try and swim! It looks like he's just drowning! HA!"

So, i guess what i'm getting at is this: We need to start a petition to meet who I am now dubbing as One-legged-Fred. If anyone else would like to meet One-legged-Fred just let me know by replying in this thread yes or no. Who knows, maybe TPTB will just happen to glance over here and give One-legged-Fred a cameo in some later episode. It would be nice considering they cut off his leg and then never talk about him!

So if YOU would like to meet One-legged-Fred, please reply now. And remember, as you all know, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!

Well, Jack never amputated the leg. The Redshirt you are referring to is Dale Radomski aka the Tourniquet Man (http://www.losttv-forum.com/forum/showpost.php?p=402667&postcount=11)

Here he is being helped away from the debris by Locke and another background actor/stuntman - Fuzzy Moody.

I forget the exact dialog, but someone does ask Jack about the tourniquet man (maybe Boone in the pilot) and Jack replies that he removed the tourniquet and the man would be fine.

One of the articles linked in his bio page indicates that Dale will be reprising that role in the future - so, although he still works on LOST as a stuntman, we may see him as the tourniquet man in another episode.

It's time for Tourniquet Man to rise and lead the Losties Home.
