Okay...it had been driving me crazy that more people are not talking about this. Have you noticed that every one of the main Losties has a major 'Daddy issue'. I mean, sometimes it feels as though the writers go out of their way in some flashbacks to make sure that they throw that in there. I mean, every single person with a flash back...I think that this is going to mean something BIG later on...I mean, this is too big of a coincidence. I think we all need to think about where this could lead...any ideas?

Here is where I am going with this...Aaron is a big part of the WHOLE explanation to everything...I really believe this. And the fact that every person has had Daddy issues, including Claire herself (when her boyfriend was leaving her, he mentioned that she had 'Daddy left me' issues), could be tied to Aaron. In fact, I think that the main reason that CLaire wanted to give the baby up is because she didn't want her baby to go through some things she went through for not having a dad. Plus, Aaron having no father himself makes him fit in and have a lot in common with everyone else on the plane....even though he wasn't even born yet when it crashed. But this also has a lot to do with why they (The Other's) were trying to take the baby from Claire...and since they are 'evil', I think that the psychic man in Australia knew this and was trying to convey to Claire that only she should take care of Aaron (knowing that they would try everything, including drugs to get her to give the baby to them). Note: Roussou never spoke of a mate, and thus her daughter was also a fatherless child when taken...

just a few posts down on the same page?

Inexcusable.
