Why didn't Alex went with clair? why did she went back to the "medical hatch"? (We know she is still with zeke from the hunting party episode)
If this has been mentioned please just merge my thread and don't be too hard on me :P
Here is what I think keeps Alexe with Zeke:
1- She is addicted to a drug (maybe she is sick or a junkie...)
2- She thinks that the others are good and want to help them even if sometimes she don't agree with the method they use (for exemple how they treat clair)
3- She is trying to infiltrate the others so she can help her mom and our survivors in the futur.

She is obviously scared of The Others. She makes that point very clear when trying to help Claire escape. She doesn't appear to be drugged at all, so I have to disagree with that theory...

Honestly, I think it's a little more in depth and we don't have all the clues yet...

I'm just excited that we know Alex is there!!!!

I actually believe that they told her that Danielle is dead, possibly due to C section. So that could be why she believes Claire will die when they cut aaron out of her. Remember, Alex was very young, 2 weeks? if i remember correctly, when the others took her. She would'nt know anything outside of their group.

I agree with that too, if she was taken when she was only 1 week old she would not know any other way of life other then how the "others" have raised her. Something must have happened to her to make her distrust them.

Exactly, canadianchick! Since she was so young when they took her, Alex would, theoretically, be just like the Others. Why isn't she right now? Why made her distance herself from them? What did she see that she wasn't supposed to??

an Alex episode would be so nice, She has been with the others all her life, she must have alot of answers for us. I hope we can see more of her this season but I also don't think it's going to happen

Yeah, I don't think we will learn THAT much about Alex this season.

Why?

Because we will need a storyline for Season 3!!!

my first thought is that she doesn't know her mother is out there...
my next thought was that she must have alot of her mothers traits! She seemed unafraid to do what was right and had the strength to do it. She knew Claire had people to go to. She knew they would protect her and her baby.

Exactly. But what allowed her to tap into this quality? Her inner strength alone wouldn't be a match for those expertly trained Others.

Or would it??

Is that why they took her??

It's hard to speculate, but I honestly think there are more clues left to be unearthed about Alex...

Has anybody considered that she is perhaps dependend upon the vaccine and knows she would be unable to survive long without the assistance of the others?

Well, remember these are adult scientists... and then alex and walt are abducted children. they would be treated differently and have different experiences than the ethans and the zekes...

I need help with this ... was Walt taken before or after or during Claire's disappearance?
Walt's arrival may have changed Alex's preception of these people.

Then that would probably preclude that she was injected with whatever it is she needs the vaccine for, as her mother is not infected (unless she really is), or was merely told she was infected, as so to keep her in line (i.e. "quarantine" on the inside of the hatch)

And Walt was taken after Claire's disappearance, but in-time with Danielle kidnapping Aaron.

Walt arrived AFTER Claire was taken...not much after she arrived back at camp though, if I remember correctly...

That is a very good point I am not sure. Somebody who has a better memory than me will have to answer that one. If I had to guess though I would say she was taken before though. Just a guess mind you.

But remember, the TSS children were taken BEFORE Claire...

We almost need a timeline for who was taken when...or do we? I haven't checked SledgeWeb's timeline in a while...

But where were they taken??? There are many different places to take them, it is a big island. There are plenty of hatches left. Alex might be suspecting things now but might still be out of the loop. This of course is all speculation at this point.

Maybe when there is a reunion (or shortly before a reunion) with Danielle, Alex will lead us to these areas?? Our Losties are bound to find her eventually...even as a clandestine encounter...

Okay and what if Dharma did all they needed to Aaron, now he is infected. So they just let Clair and Aaron go so he can infect the others, or maybe this is all an experiment and they want to see how Aaron reacts with normal people.
so maybe Alex is still working with dharma and she only did that so she gain trust from the survivors and she will use it latter.
