Ok, just how crazy over this show and the characters/actors ( Naveen, in this case!) are we? Some of the other gals at work agree that having pictures of our fav guys to look at through out the day, helps. We have a collage of pics of Naveen and Josh all over the workplace. It is hilarious to see peoples faces when they walk through and see all of that!! Our newest addition is the new pic of Naveen on the cover of TV Guide this week. One of my co-workers got THAT issue in her mailbox yesterday, so she is giving it to me when she's done with it. Do any of your family members think you're losing it? My 14 yr. old son had to see my screen name "Sayidtheman" a while back and told his dad. Now I never hear the end of it! I'd like to hear if anyone else has any similar stories.:b

I have never, ever been this involved in any show/series, and there are a few that I never miss. But lost and Sayid, OMG, cannot miss a day on the boards, always checking the chat to see what's up. My husband came home from work the other day, asked why I was on this site again and did he need to spend more time with me. please, he doesn't even know about my daily peek at sayid/sawyer photos or that I am looking for naveen movies just to obsess over. I need help:lol , but I'm loving every minute of it. speaking of obsessed, gotta go check out the 'wet' promo pic again.

Having loved Naveen Andrews for many many years, I am
thrilled to see him in such a great project. He is the reason
I started watching LOST and am GLAD to say that I LOVE the
show. I am VERY happy that others are obsessing over him
now ... he deserves it. He is a great actor!

I have his picture plastered everywhere, you know, So I don't
forget what he looks like....lol...when you are that exotic
and beautiful and sexy, No woman would even need a husband, so I am not surprised over the married women here. Sayid will do just fine. He's gorgeous.

But devenish, if your husband looked like Naveen, wouldn't you drool over him?? My hubby has a great sense of humor when it comes to my obsessions. To a point. I'm almost embarrassed to admit I saw Titanic 9 times! I will NEVER live that one down. But Naveen, now that's a different story! He is just plain beautiful. I need to see him in some of the many films he's been in. I would love to see B&P when it opens, but I doubt it will come near me:\ He really is an amazing actor. And easy on the eyeballs:eek

created DVDz........He is BEYOND gorgeous....

I never cried while watching titanic...then again...the first time I saw it the film burned about 30 or so minutes before the ending....we all got free passes to go again...which I did but I never cried....ANYWAYS....
yeah there are some really sexy iraqi men....and indian men....yeah....
but I must say its funny how much my taste in men has changed since I started watching lost....I mean I liked guys like orlando bloom (I can relate to the whole titanic thing...I went to pirates of the carribean like 5 times at the theatre) and stuff prior to lost....but now I'm enjoying indian and middle eastern men...
anybody else experience something like this?

I started obssessing about LOST when I saw the first promos - back in August 2004. At the time, I didn't even know which actors were going to star in it!
Since the premiere, I have to say that I have been blown away by the amazing talent of the whole cast - amazing!
And of the lot, Naveen Andrews has impressed me with his subtlety. He's definitely sexy as all get out, but he's so much more than that - like Johnny Depp, he's an incredibly gifted actor.
Beto
well, and the other male actors on the show aren't hard on the eyes, either :D

Exactly! Naveen is truly talented--and the whole "sexy as hell" thing he has going on certainly doesn't hurt. :)

Me neither. I noticed Dom (I was like, hey, that's one of the hobbits from LOTR) and Matthew Fox (he looks familiar...Party of Five...I remember that show!). I thought it was great/interesting that they had a larger character (Hurley), but I scoffed at the 8 months pregnant girl (I said "no doctor would ever let her fly! how farfetched!") lol. If I had only known!
Since the premiere, I have to say that I have been blown away by the amazing talent of the whole cast - amazing!
I couldn't agree more! I was hooked from the first episode just watching the pure character drama (the Kate/Jack stitches scene, Boone and his 40 pens, Sun and Jin interacting, etc). This cast is amazing, and they really bring their oh-so-multifaceted characters to life. I too have never been obsessed with a show...but I can truthfully say I'm a Lostaway, completely immersed in all things Lost.
P.S. The island--I mean the show--helped me give up my addictive spoiler habit. I looked into the eye of a new, unspoiled episode, and it was beautiful. ;)

Other than the Simpsons, I don't watch tv programs, so I
admit when my friend e-mailed me and said "Your Naveen
Andrews is on LOST" there was no way I was going to miss it.
But I admit from Day One, the Show is fabulous in every way.
I had not seen Matthew before and he is terrific, as is the
rest of the cast. The writers are amazing. If more tv
programs were like this, I'd watch tv more often. All of the
characters are so interesting.
Naveen is a great actor, and I am pleased to see him get this
wonderful role and add life to it.

vinnylover78- I've seen Titanic like 900 times (but I have my own reasons;) ) lol
OMG I am so obsessed with LOST I'll be talking about it and I dont even notice I am until whoever I'm talking to is like "Are you aware you're still talking?" lol
I watched the promos back in August and I immediately noticed Claire, and I guess my previous obsession with Friends payed off because I remembered Phoebe couldn't go to Ross' London wedding because she couldn't fly in her third trimester. I saw Claire and I said to whoever happened to be around "Is that a pregnant woman? She shouldn't be flying! How did she get on that plane?!"
Well ANYWAYs....
Sayid is HOTT:b :lol

Oh Devenish, my opinion of you has so dropped after this comment!:\ :rollin
BTW, I can not watch this movie without losing it at the end. It doesn't matter if you've seen it 1000 times or if you know the ending. If the Jack/Rose thing doesn't make you cry, then Ioan Gruffudd saying with a crack in his voice, "We waited to long" will. And the funny this is, I never saw it in the theater, only on video and now DVD.

Yes, I know! But, you know within a few minutes of the movie's beginning that Jack must be dead, because Rose is alive in 1997 as a 100 year old woman. And you still watch it and get all caught up in it!
My grandpa recently turned 95, and I guess he was about 88 or so when he first saw 'Titanic'. He loved it.
