Brick is a new movie, Emile(Clair) plays one of the main charichters. It is a beautiful blend of the Outsiders, and The Big Sleep/LA Confidential. The diologe is typicaly film noir, although the setting is a suberbun highschool. Emile plays Brendon (Joseph Gorden Levitt) The protaginists, missing Ex-girlfriend Emily. Emile, is great in the movie, although not quite as good as some of the actors. She has to work on her accent, I mean given her charichter in the movie she should slur her words, but not to the point that she does. Although having dialogue that was almost entirely 'coded' (like Brick's is), didn't help her. But the script was fabulous. Unfortunately the budget (or lack thereof) showed, but only slightly.

The end had me, all on edge, But the build up alone was pay off. Please someone else see it, so I can talk to you in spoiler tabs about Emile, and her clair' like quilties.

Here's a link to the imdb.com summary (http://imdb.com/title/tt0393109/plotsummary) for this movie. It received nominations for several film festivals and won a Sundance award for Originality of Vision. Methinks it is a movie worth watching.

That it is, Az, that it is. I have seen it twice already - by monday night it will be three times. Partialy because my friends don't like each other, and Partialy because I am taking any excuse I can get.

There are no showings around my area. I live in michigan, that's too bad. I've been looking forward to it a long time, I'm a Roswell fan and am always interested in films the cast does.

Those who won't be able to see it, in theters should deffently catch it on DVD. It's actully doing quite well in the box office, so the limited relese could very well be expanded.

Brick apparently will arrive in Cleveland on April 28. At the very cool Cedar Lee theater, Northeastern Ohio's home to strange cinema.:hammersel
