View Full Version : Is there a reason for us not knowing Libby's surname?

We know every main character's (with the exception of Eko?) surname, but for some reason, Libby's hasn't been announced yet. I remember Ana-Lucia's surname (Cortez) being known before it was mentioned, and I think it seems as though they're keeping Libby's surname for a reason.

What could her surname be and why would she be hiding it? Hanzo? DeGroot? Candle? Any of these Dharma names are unlikely-Libby has never seen the Orientation video as far as we know, and she has never been a button pusher, or have inside knowledge on it, so I doubt she'd know to keep her second name hidden if that was it. Not to mention evidence points against her being anything to do with the others.

What if it turns out to be Reyes? O_o

You know Dupin, I've never gave it a second thought. Not sure if that's a good thing or bad. Only time will tell.

It's Libby Warthawg. An unusual name, but a name nonetheless.

As far as we know, Hurley never compared the tailies' names against the manifest. I hope this becomes an issue at some point.

I understand the "need" to know Libby's surname, but as someone already pointed out, we don't know Eko's as well as Rose and Bernard's (I don't recall knowing or hearing).
