I just crawled out of the basement to put in my opinion.
I've always thought Alex is a girl and considering the timing aspect of Danielle's isolation, I think Alex is a teenager. I also think that Alex is the one that rescued Claire from Ethan.
There were scratches on Ethan's face. They looked like a woman's fingernail marks to me. I doubt they were from Claire because she did not remember anything, hence was probably not fighting for her life at the point of rescue. Therefore, that leaves me two choices: Danielle and Alex. Because Danielle is obviously living in fear and reluctant to engage in communication with anyone, I doubt she would approach Ethan. Alex, however, might have a bone to pick with the others. And Alex might have just enough courage to be a hero.
It's just a gut feeling.
Wow - I can't believe I'm actually up here again. Feels kind of nice. That's all I have to say. I'll be back if something else pops into my head.
Oh - and just in case this has already been brought up, CC and Az, feel free to close. I haven't read much in the last couple week.
