Well golly! I looked through the whole "Shippers" forum and I'm shocked that this hasn't already been created.

So from the diehard Skater herself, I create a Sawyer/Ana-Lucia thread. I know I'll get slapped for it later, but it's a risk I'm willing to take. Because personally - to be brutally brutally honest - I don't mind Sawyer and Ana that much. And I can see how something between the two of them could work. (Even though I much much prefer Sawyer and Kate)

When I watched I had several different thoughts. When A-L started doing he little game on Sawyer I was thinking that now that the whole Jate Hate club has slapped Dee for starting this thread it's my turn. ;)

When Michael shot her I was thinking that Dee's off the hook because now this thread is useless.

She's right SareBear. And even before that there was this rather odd chemestry between them going back to when they were on the other side of the island. Okay it started off on the wrong foot, and got a bit tepid when they got back and Sawyer was reunited with Kate and A-L managed to make her self a pariah, but there really was call for this thread to be here, and Dee was merely correcting an oversight.

I had wondered why there wasn't one yet as far back as October, but I was leaving it for the members to make one. If you are going to slap anybody, you should slap all the MR fans who confined their posting on A-L to attacking anyone in the MR forum who disparaged her or only posted in Shippers to dis other ships.No names mentioned, of course. COanaluciaisalesbianUGH If one of them HAd started this thread a long time ago, Deewouldn't have needed to and had to endure all the abuse.

And Dez, as I explained to Sare on the phone, I only wanted to write it because when I went back to read the parts where I had written Sana in my Skate fic, (not to sound obnoxious or anything at all) I kept thinking that I wrote them so damn well and it seemed that's how they would act if it WERE to happen. And I had a lot of fun writing them!

But fear not, everyone. I'm not going to write a Sana fic. And if I do, I just won't let anyone read it or tell ya'll about it. ;) Just kidding.

Hated with a passion. I think one of the greatest joys of her life in the summer following S2 was that after every appearance of A-L in an ep, up until ABC stopped showing the repeats was waiting until the self-proclaimed president of the MR fanclub, Leigh started posting in the "Why all the Ana-Lucia hate" (http://www.losttv-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12831) thread. I guess Leigh has a MR fan site and she bans anyone who says anything negative about her favorite "Chica Mala".

So Leigh would start ranting and Suil, among others, would start needling her, sort of like poking a snake with a stick to watch it strike. Fun times. :D For a while it seemed that Leigh was angling to get banned but Suil told her that she just wasn't annoying enough. Eventually Leigh took her marbles (the ones she hadn't already lost) and went home. *sigh*

It was the Underdog, Series 1 and 2, what I recall from them was Jate here, Jate there, they were bad times....but once that Skate hug came and Sawyer began to get jealous then we knew they were evolving it.

Sure it might of happened then, But after their little fight to get on the raft in Born to Run, we didn't get anymore hope Until what Kate did, then the Sawyer blew it down with his Con with the Guns, then we had to wait until ana-lucia and Libby's death (hail mikey) then we got the Skate, If you think about it Michael is why Skates happening,

Its expected from Sawyer, the Antagonist at Series 1, The Raft thing, it was every man for himself, Like anytime back in Series 1-2 with Sawyer. He wanted his place on the raft and do anything to get off. Now though he's lost hope as can be seen in expose.

"your not coming with us" As Locke says, "Who is Jack to say what we can and Can't do" Its a free Island, and Kate should be able to make her own decision's, (again sorry if any bad spelling) Incase you didn't notice she is a Fugitive, She is on the run because she want to be free. Sawyer Allows to make her own decisions, Although in Stranger from a strange Land he didn't allow her to go, In what I thought was a script that didn't capture the personalities right... though, Jack did sacrifice himself for a reason, If kate went back it would of been in vein.

It's not exactly like that. Like Lostaway said, we're supposed to look to Jack as the good guy in the situation, and Sawyer as the bad. But suddenly there's a role reversal here.

Plus, we have seen this other side of Sawyer that isn't the bad guy he really is. He can be caring and loving.

We have see the other side of Jack as well who can be stubborn, controlling, and has a "my way or the highway" philosophy. I can't bear to see ANYONE be in a relationship with a man like that. (especially since I had to suffer through my mother being with a man like that. And when he tried to turn on me, I got the hell out of the house to live with my sister. This is probably why I am not too fond of Jack all the time because he reminds me of this guy.)

And yeah, Ana Lucia always reminded me in a strange way of Sawyer. She was just really pushy and on the edge. But if she was still alive, I'm sure she would still be up and edgy, even though Sawyer's mellowed out.

xD Yes I'm very cultural when it comes to shippers. It's hard to decide and when the triangle discombobulates everything, it gets old. But it's also just a part of my very contradicting nature.

And many people have slapped me for making this thread, as you've seen I'm sure.
