Hi! It’s about time you got here. What took you so long? We know you’ve probably been watching LOST for a long time now; you might even have been posting or reading this board. But now there’s a new element to our Lostverse and you’re thinking about taking the plunge. Scary, isn’t it? You have no idea where to start because it just seems like there’s SO MUCH! And the group of people in this forum seem like experts. Well, they are, but they have questions too and, for all we know, you might have the one idea they are looking for!

We understand your trepidation. It’s a little mind-boggling. If you’ve glanced at the Webmaze Forum, it might look a little… intimidating. Don’t be afraid. All of us were newbies once. Some of the people who frequent this forum have been around a long time and some have only recently joined. All it's going to take is one post and you’ll be part of our family too.

We know you have questions and all of the people here are willing and able to help you answer them – particularly the resident moderators of this forum, Lab and Truff. They will point you in the right direction every time. Read their welcome thread and if, after all the information and links they throw your way, you still have questions, send them a personal message and they’ll give you a little one-on-one.

We have excellent threads covering a multitude of topics – some will answer questions and some will ask them; some may sound familiar and some might sound a little out-there. All of them will spark your imagination, help solidify your thoughts and they might even feed your obsession with Lost during those trying times when we’re in re-runs.

We expect this game to offer many challenges and be lots of fun. The ultimate goal remains to be seen and how it ties in with the show we watch every week is anyone’s guess. It’s a little mystery of our own – to discuss, to unravel and to enjoy. Join in any discussion that matches your interests and start a dialogue with our members. Log into chat and discuss some of your ideas in real-time. Read and assimilate all the wonderful ideas and categories the Mazers have been working on for months. Pretty soon you’ll be part of an amazing and enthusiastic group of posters. They’re some of our best, our brightest and our most excited.

Once again – we are so glad you’re here. We hope you have the time of your life. You’ll make some great friends (or get re-acquainted with some old ones), become part of an exciting game and, if you learn a little along the way, that’s an added bonus.

Have a great time! Now go read!

We realize there may be a large influx of people who want to participate, but not normally active in the Spin-off forum. No problem, the Spin-off folks will be glad to have you. Please make yourself comfortable.

There is a great core group of folks around here who will do their best to make you feel at home.

I am relatively new to serious webmazing, but I can confirm that the old-hands at this are some of the friendliest folks around... I think the key for any webmazing newbie is to read through the top posts and keep up to date with what's been found, and observe for a few posts first before jumping in. After you figure out the basic layout and rules, you'll be welcomed with open arms into "the collective". It's definitely a culture all it's own, but a fun one...

Happy Easter Egg hunting, everyone!

For anyone just joining us....WELCOME ABOARD. We need all the brainpower we can get. As JG said, if you have ANY questions, no matter how basic or obscure, PM anyone mentioned above, or myself, I think you will find our group to be incredibly gracious and welcoming.

For a complete recap with links and everything of where we are, please take a look at Truff's Webmaze guide that is stickied at the top of the forum. IF you are interested in a "cliffs notes" version of what has happened thus far, take a look at my own summary. It is very basic, and hardly exhaustive, but it helps me keep track of what is going on.

If you have questions or notice things I have inevitably missed, please PM me.

Above all, have a good time.....

Hi all and welcome!

I know a lot of people are intimidated by the length of the threads. Just want to reiterate PandoraX's suggestion, use the first post of each thread to stay caught up. As a thread-wrangler myself, I can personally vouch that we are doing our best to keep everything updated in a timely manner. Please use these posts so I will know that I am not updating in vain!

Please also use the "View First Unread" function, it's the little green arrow next to the thread name. It'll take you to wherever you left off last time you visited. The day someone pointed that function out to me, my life was changed! And don't be afraid if you're gone a few days and see 40+ pages. Not every post in a breaking discovery, you can skim a lot of it very quickly.

As always, feel free to post in the BBR or send any of us veterans a PM. It wasn't too long ago that we were new around here, too.

Hey everyone and Welcome to the Game!! As you can see by my post count, I've been here awhile LOL. And some of you have already pm'd me with questions about what is going on and I just wanted to say I am happy to help out whenever I can. And feel free to contact any of the more 'seasoned' mazers here -- we are a close knit group and we love to have fun with all that is Lost -- I know I am speaking for the Team when I say we appreciate and welcome everyone who has joined us in the past few weeks!!! And as Supermodel posted above, those of us in charge of a thread will always keep the first few posts updated. I encourage you to check those out regularly as you will never know when to expect an update there!! Have fun here!! :D

CONFUSED?

Enlightment is just a few keystrokes away. If you have any questions at all, please ask. There are no stupid questions, only stupid people. ;)

The Hanso Foundation is glad to have you aboard. Namaste.
