Did Shannon seem Stepford-ish with Claire?

Was it my imagination, or did Shannon seem different when she was talking to Claire last night? Since Boone's "hallucination," we haven't seen much of her, and she hasn't seemed as spoiled as before. She used to be content with doing nothing, now she is always helping out at the caves.

Perhaps Boone didn't hallucinate her death. Maybe Locke facilitated her death so she could be replaced by and Ethan-like replicant.

Strrrreeeetttch! I know, but she seemed uncharacterictically calm.
