Why Bonne won't die

There has been too much information given away leading to a Boone death.
One of the most shocking things the writers did so far was to include the story of sex between Boone and Shannon. That scenario leads to many potential conflicts in the plot in the future. If Boone dies now , all those possibilities are null.
I think the Boone, Shannon relationship is too important to the big plot to have Boone die now.

I assume that most of the backstory we have left on Boone can be got through Shannon. And, I kind of knew since it was obvious Claire was going to have her baby this episode. It's like, one person is born, one person dies. Also, once Boone got fatally wounded, Locke suddenly regained the full use of his legs.

I knew it'd be Boone. My friend was in denial but I kept telling her. I so wish it was Shannon, or Jin. But hey we still have Sawyer and Locke. Two I was fearing might get the axe. But ok! Locke gets shot. He'll live.

Boone's not dead, they are going to see him on the island in passing, you know like we see Elvis and Tupac. It's gonna be the Fat Boone instead of the skinny one.

But on a more constructive note I did notice that whole circle of life theme. Maybe if they kill Claire's baby they get Boone back by reversing the circle.
