View Full Version : Lets See What the Internet Can Do For Me...

First things first, this is a daft idea and may fall flat on its face. I have to make sure I am the first person to say this.

Right, what I want to do I get help from anyone and everyone on this and other forums to achieve a few things that I would love to do, but don't think I can do by myself. What are these things, well they are stuff like get a speaking part in a film or TV show, write a comic that makes print or meet someone like Joss Whedon. These goals aren't particularly specific, and if anyone has any other cool ideas, I'm ready to see just what is capable. I don't just want to hit these big goals, if anyone has anything small but fun to offer, thats great.

All I need from people is information, and you to tell other people about this. There are millions of people who use the internet, covering all areas of interest and expertise, so if you cant help me but know someone who could, or know someone who knows someone etc ask them. Everyone can help whether you can talk Damon Lindelof to get me a part on Lost, or just point me to a website about something cool. Any contribution will be appreciated.

I live in Sheffield, England, so if I need to travel, I will be limited to the UK (unless something absolutely incredible happens...) I am a 23 year old male, and I have a black belt in Taekwondo and have studied other arts, so I'm not against a bit of physical activity. I am ready to try most things, but would mostly like to end up doing something in TV or film, but I would also like to do anything creative in nature.

Remember, everyone can help, directly or through word of mouth, or simply if you have a cool idea for something I could do, I would love to be doing anything that this experiment set in place this time next week.

If you dont ask, you dont get!

PS I repeat this is a crazy idea

PPS I'm not sure what view the mods will have on this, I hope you can get into the spirit of this, but if it does break any rules, I apologise in advance.

This kinda reminds me of Kyle MacDonald and his oneredpaperclip website: http://oneredpaperclip.blogspot.com
This is the guy who started with one red paperclip for trade - for anything bigger and better - and wants to eventually end up trading for a house. I really believe he will do it. Go Kyle go! :thumbs_up
So anyway... what he has up for trade now is a speaking part in a movie. Check it out. And good luck.

OMG its LFG
