Emilie de Ravin, who plays Claire Littleton on ABC's "Lost," has married actor Josh Janowicz.

The pair, who live in Los Angeles, wed June 19 in a "small, intimate ceremony" in Melbourne, Australia, de Ravin's publicist, Jeff Raymond, told The Associated Press on Wednesday. The bride wore a gown by Monique Lhuillier, Raymond said.

The couple became engaged on Jan. 1, 2005, while visiting de Ravin's family in Australia.

De Ravin, 24, recently starred in the thriller "The Hills Have Eyes (http://tv.msn.com/movies/movie.aspx?m=2061848)."

Anyone know if she is changing her name?

I doubt it. Most actresses keep their name when they get married. Not all, but the majority.

Yeah, as soon as people get famous they tend to keep their fame names. And she had a distinctive name too, so I think it'll stay.

And whoever the guy is (not heard of him), he's a lucky man.:(

LOL I'm sensing some mods fancying Claire...hehe. Well there is always fantasy and dreams...and that hollywood chance of a divorce. They are still young and may find out that they shouldn't be together or something. Would be horrible as marraiges weren't meant to come to an end, but hey, it's the real world, and you guys can hope :)

I've been warning that guy to stay away from my girl. Grrr.Oh. Your girl is she. Huh? Your girl now, is she? Come here and say that *shakes fist at TP*.

Angelic - thanks for the 'postive' words - you never know eh? Well, ok, I'm dreaming!)

Hmmm.... Seems we had a chat room battle once over some dames. Don't think that was the last of it, pal. My short stature should not be lightly forgotten. My Kung Fu is greater than your Kung Fu, young padawan.

Judge not the prize you seek by the perception of battles easily negotiated. Instead, fledgling contenders should seek proper training and exercise before attempting measures which will not likely attain their goal.

TP, old bean. Let me assure you our previous tussle, played out in the confines of the chat room, was nothing more than practice. Let it be known that I'll match your so-called Kung Fu with my knotted handerchief and lace-up boxing gloves.

Moreover, I'll give you a new home for that razor-edged bowler hat, too. But it would be dark, moist and the sort of place reserved for smuggling a skeleton key into prison, so you may wish to step back from this contratemp right now my short friend.

Your girl indeed. Pffft.

Lost's Emilie de Ravin, Husband Split

Emilie de Ravin, who plays Claire Littleton on ABC's Lost, has separated from her husband after only six months of marriage, her publicist, Jeff Raymond, tells the Associated Press.

The Australian actress and actor Josh Janowicz, both 25, were married in Melbourne in June of last year.

The wedding was intentionally small, de Ravin told PEOPLE at the time. "I'd never have a large wedding," she said. "That's not the kind of person either of us is. We're both quite low-key people."

It was a first marriage for both. They have no children.

Despite the brevity of the marriage, "We've been together nearly four years," de Ravin told PEOPLE in March 2006. The couple originally met "through friends," de Ravin added, "which is the best way to meet someone, isn't it?"

An Australian native, de Ravin lived in Los Angeles with Janowicz and commuted to her TV show's set in Oahu, Hawaii.

Marriage to divorce in 6 months (or 15 posts depending on how you look at it). Odd.

I hate to hear that about Emilie though, she seems like a really nice person.

Well, apparently the divorce is final.

Lost star, Australian actress Emilie de Ravin is to divorce her husband Josh Janowicz.

A rep for de Ravin said in a statement that “Emilie and her husband have filed for divorce. They have recently been living separately and remain friends.”

The couple married in Melbourne in 2006 and shared a home in Los Angeles. Jonowicz lists his occupation as being an actor, although he has mostly only played bit parts in minor television shows, vs de Ravin who a starting opposite both Johnny Depp, and Robert Pattinson is separate movies due out this year.

Still looking for the actual article, afterall I got it on IMDB.
