Well fellow spoiler fans, it looks like filming will start on monday. I may actually have time to stalk them again this year - I hope! I have seen a lot of the cast in the past two weeks. I figured filming would start soon. I really had not seen anyone (except Harold P.) all summer. But in the last two weeks I have seen a lot of the whole cast - so I figured it would start soon.

My only inside source has let me know filming should start this week!! I did hear that they may film some on the other isalnds this season - but that will hopefully be just a rumor!
I am especially curious if they film any more on the rocks were Desmond killed Kelvin.

Yes, I think so too - but I do hold out hope it may also be in season three as a plot line - maybe rezinski did not use a shotgun as Kelvin claimed :)

Just a little background for those who have no idea what just happened in this thread today. The poster that H4P was responding too earlier posted several false spoilers toward the end of S2. I told them I'd leave them alone, until we found out how S2 really ended. If their stuff was legit, no harm no foul. However, if they were false, then the rule would be implemented.

Basically, I kept my promise. I would have given a more detailed response earlier today, but I only had a few minutes at the computer and wanted to do it before I forgot about it......again.

snakey, it made for some interesting reading, but that's about the extent of it. Red flags go up all over the place whenever someone posts here claiming to be an "insider" or having spoilers from their friend who's an "insider", and that's mainly just a Pavlovian response thanks to OSD. Real friends and "insiders" associated with the show know how to contact us outside of the Spoiler forum, and they've done it in the past several times via interviews etc.

There's no way that a LOST "insider", cast member, crew member, or even Damon's nephew (http://www.losttv-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22711) is going to just start posting here without the forum owner knowing about it beforehand. It's just not gonna happen. Those "insiders", cast members, crew members, etc know how to get ahold of us and they do so when they have something to say......that's why most in the Spoiler forum never see it. :)

That said, all of you "lurkers" out there thinking of trying it......it's not gonna fly. I'll call :bs: on your post long before KF2, H4P, von, or LfG (not to mention countless others) has a chance in the case I beat them to it. Please, just don't do it. Go play at the 'Fuse, I hear they like that sort of thing. We on the other hand will ban you outright. Consider that your pre-emptive warning for the day. ;)

I just hope you guys have some luck, I imagine there will be some indoor filming which might be hard to find. Because obviously they will be using a studio to shoot any internal stuff. What I mean by that is if Jack and Saywer and Kate are with the others. Would`nt it be inside some labratory or research place? Where did they do all the hatch filming? Was that in Hawii or was it done back in California or somewhere else?

LOL - you guys are so funny! I have honestly been looking around the island - and I don't think they have started filming yet. The cast is reporting in the mornings to somewhere in town - possibly the IBM building where they have the caves set. I wonder if the "others" set is in that sound studio there.

I will have to talk to Tater and see if he has seen anything.

Yes I am a family guy (but not The Family Guy) - so I hopefully won't need the bail money, but It's nice to know the thought is there ;) Plus, I have a ton of respect for the police. l have actually talked with several cops doing security for lost - they have never given me a hard time. Two of them came and stoped me when I visited the North Shore set last year (at 6:00 am ), I was tresspassing, but very respectful. They talked with me about the cast for about 20 minutes. Most of the time if you are nice you can get your way in Hawaii.

If anyone sees them filming, please let me and everyone else know so we can send in a recon team :) I can't wait to see them filming again!

Having this article in the back of my mind when I read that the island itself may have undergone some physical changes after the little incident in the season 2 finale, I wondered if that is how the underwater scenes might play in.

- The "failsafe" made some interesting physical changes to the island.

Of course I have no way of knowing if this is a spoiler, or a foiler, and only included it because it made me wonder if the it was somehow tied into the under water scenes. The underwater scenes could be related to an underwater hatch, as has been suggested here on the forum.

If I could figure out how to hide myself on the set - and really not get caught, I really would do it. It's that getting caught part that has stopped me - plus that silly voice that tells me it's really wrong.

In truth, last year I saw them filming the episode where Mr. Eko goes into his brother's church. I even took pictures, but a Lost production person came over and asked me in a very nice way to please not post those photos on the internet until after the episode aired - and I didn't. It was killing me, but I did give her my word (and I acted shocked at her suggestion that I might do such a thing). There was no one to make me promise not to post last season at the Other's set, but I still debated spoiling it for everyone. But, I don't think I spoiled things too much, because it wasn't really their village (at least we are not sure)

I have tried twice to be an extra - apparently I am not "Otherly" enough - I am trying to improve that. Actually what stopped me was time requirements and a lack of SAG membership. But the show is not over yet - and I am still trying to weasel my way in.

For today, I will be happy to see the production trucks. I think they are running out of new and secluded places to film here - so I am wondering where the sets will be this season.

I am pretty certain they are just filming inside scenes this week - but I will let everyone know if I see anything.

Has any other oahu residents (or vacationers) seen anything?

Unless they covered the ground with some kind of ground covering like bark or a similar material. Our dirt is much more reddish brown because of all the iron oxide in the soil. So that light colored ground looks weird to me.

My guess would be fake.

I have to tell you all a funny story about that foodland. My wife and kids were waiting in the car in the parking lot while I ran inside to get us some lunch. I get back to the car and my 5 year old tells me he just saw locke. I said "where" and he tells me he just got out of a little pickup. I assured him it just look like Locke. Then I start to back our car up, and who do I see strolling back to his little pickup, none other than Mr Quinn, with a funny hat on his head. I got all excited and nodded at him - and he gave me a "yes I am Locke" nod back. My 5 year old recognized Terry O Quinn out of the TV - what does that say about me???? Well - it was very cool, and as always a little sureal.

It may seem strange - but nobody here does that to people like Mr. Quinn. Most of the time, when you see an actor, even really famous ones, people get excited - but they don't bother them. Its kind of rare to see anyone ask for an autograph.

The person on the show I see the most is sawyer. I see him in the parking lot to my office (its a shopping center) and I see him driving his boat in the channel behind my office. I never see people mobbing him for an autograph. I have seen him wave hello to people - thats about it.

My wife waited in line at the post office standing right behind Evangeline Lilly. She waited there about 20 minutes. After EL finished her Post Office business, she waved goodby to the poeple in line - but no one approached her.

I don't know why people here don't make a bigger deal out of it. Possibly thats why so many stars live here.

Oh i'd bet the white structures are indeed real, it's the poorly tacked on door and Hanso logo that give it away. But i'd suspect, as with almost anything posted there that supposedly relates to something on the island, that those pictures are of structures somewhere else in the world...

Yeah, thats why I don't do it. Plus it wouldn't be in my nature to do something like that, even if others were. Taking shots of the sets and fimling is A-OK in my book, but I have to repsect their privacy.


Actually, I am happy just to be seeing them at all. If I did snap a photo - It would be of Josh H on his boat - he looks so damn happy every time I see him. (He sometimes is wearing yellow fishing boots) He always has someone different with him and he is ALWAYS laughing and smiling. I am guessing it's good to be Mr Sawyer right now. Not to mention the fact that he is constantly finding the time to go deep sea fishing! Hard to tell much from behind the glass of my office - but he seems to be a pretty happy guy. (Every time I see him the Sawyer song plays in my head :rolleyez: )

Well those are intersting (they are the arial version of the other one I gave the link for)

They do look similar to the fake Others camp - but more advanced. If those are on hawaii, I am guessing that is the West side, a place I rarely visit. That might just change. I doubt they are real because of the skylights - why would a film crew bother with something that would not be seen from above? They would need better lighting than that - so I call shennanigans!:mad:

Actually, I think this makes sense. If I were an alien with enough brains to get a ship to earth, I think I would rather visit the big Island more so than some place like Nebraska. I think this proves the Alien's intelligence. After a long hard space journey where would be a good place to chill for a while and recover from your trip - The Big Island - perfect!

I know they were at Haleiwa Beach last week. I also saw VERY bright lights about 11PM a couple of nights last week which indicates late night filming. This is in an area I've not seen them film in before. It is across the highway towards the mountains from the usual beach location. This area has ponds, wetlands and hills as part of the landscape so I'm looking forward to seeing what they are doing back there.

I'm assuming it was LOST filming and not some other TV show or movie because I've not heard of any other productions going on on the North Shore.

About three weeks ago, on my drive in to work, I passed the "Base Camp" in front of Bellows Airforce Base. This is an abandonded air force base in Waimanolo on Oahu. Besides a nice beach and some cabins there is a large - and abandoned air strip. Not much else. I am not sure where they were filming at exaclty - but I would bet a dollar it was the airstrip.

Ugh, don't bother reading that article. Its overly long and doesn't bring up a single point that anyone on these boards wouldn't already know. Definitely just for the casual fan - I can't stand IGN's channels aside from the videogame ones... their reviews/takes on film and television are absolutely terrible. Very dumb people.

I think monsoon season just refers to the prevailing winds, which were used for navigation on yearly trips between the middle East and far East when sail power was where it was at. You'd go one way on one set of winds; half a year later you'd return on the other.

I would like to see the lostaways dealing with a storm like that. So far they've only had to cope a few passing heavy showers. I guess the producers could create a monsoon with wind and rain machines.

I heard that Dr. Arzt was going to be making an appearance again this season. Wonder if it will deal with what he said about monsoon season and the 2004 tsunami. The others (other posters I heard from) thought that Arzt will make a flashback appearance.

IMO, if the Lost PTB do deal with the tsunami, then they do so because of this Lost website, and the fact that so many people talked about it on here.

Or there could be a non-con, because they WEREN'T there all along, as in:

Our weather turned really bad with heavy rains, winds & lightning on the North Shore yesterday. And of course the waves are super big this time of year.

I guess this weather will have to be incorporated into the story somehow.

Finally!

I saw them filming at Sandies Beach yesterday. The were setting up at 6:00am. Not a huge production. I drove out to where the trailers where, but by 10:30 they were packing up. At least they were filming!

Lucky you! I live here, but never can find the time to look for them.

I would go straight to the north shore - thats where the beach set is. You can walk right up to it if you follow the beach (they can not stop you from walking close to the shoreline ;) ) Then you may want to try early mornings at Sandies beach - they are frequently there as well. They also film at Kualoa Ranch (tempest is there) at the very least you should go there and take the 'studio' tour - they will show you a lot of Lost sets including the Pala Ferry dock and many others.

I will post here if I see anything. There are also a lot of shoots downtown.

Since they have already told us that Filming starts for Episode 10 on March 18at the latest, then they must have already had episode 9 partially filmed or mostly filmed when the strike happened. Hopefully Ryan from the Transmission will have some news for us this week about the filming.

On my drive into work, I saw them setting up the cast trailers at Sandies Beach. They were putting up the tents and all the trailers - usually this means a 2 day shoot.

Then as I got close to the Koko head lookout, they had taken it over with the production trucks and lights - this is the same location that Miles played dead at and where Desmond killed Kelvin.

It sucks that they are filming there, there is NO place to park. The road is so twisty that you cannot drive and snap a photo. If I have any free time at all, I will try and sneak over there.

I am not positive, but there was a small ship parked offshore about a mile, and it looked a lot like "the freighter" but it was hard to see it.

It was the lost production, though, they are still using the same signs. ;)

I have an update of sorts, I mentioned all this to a friend who was driving in the same way. She stopped and asked the security what was going on. They told her it was a Jenny Craig ad or something. That doesn't completely disprove its Lost, but usually they are pretty truthful.

Then again there is the sign with the word "Set" and the fact that they film that location all the time.

For sure, I did not see any of the cast when I went by this AM - now I am going to have to sneak away and take a closer look. Damn Lost, always so close!
