This is really just a mini-theory.

I have felt for a long time that the Losties were chosen pre-crash and manipualted onto the plane. One of my speculations had been that agents of Hanso and/or Dharma had helped manipulate things so the losties would wind up on 815 - but I had no real proof that this might be possible.

Now I think the Webmaze story line has given the evidence I have been waiting for.

Mittelwerk says in his speach that (Dharma) agents exist and are at work. "Our operatives at the Vik Institute have verified this figure"

If they are secretly at the vik institute - then they could have secretly gotten to Claire's psychic - and changed the pens in claire's adoption lawer's office.

The other argument that has been debated in T&S is that certain people are spies for Dharma within the Losties camp - I think we are seeing that as well in the new film -

He is telling a group of recruits to "stick to your story" My speculation is this group of recruits is going to the same island as the losties - since the island in the video appears to be our island. But why do the recruits need to stick to their story? Mittlewerk must be aware that there are people on the (quite possibly the Losties) who need to be deceived. The only other group I can think of that would need to be told a story are the Other's themselves. But I doubt this, as Fenry and company seem to be aware of how people can come and go from the island.

Finally I think this video confirms something we have all thought - that Dharama has sent several waves of people to the island. If I am right that the new video shows Lostie Island, then Mittlewerk is preparing new pople to enter the island - Fenry and the Others got there. Kelvin arrived in the 90's. The balloon from widemore construction arrivedmore recently. And now we have Mittlewerks recruits.

Of course my whole speculation is wasted if the Island in the video is not craphole island. :)

I came to much the same conclusion dweisspt. But until we know more about the mysterious comments about "time on the island" made at comic con, that element is also in doubt.

I still think that comment at Comicon was tongue-in-cheek based on his tone of voice and laughter from the other panel members.

What if Henry and his group are part of a newer wave of scientists from the original group? This would seem to fit with his comments about 'Him' being unforgiving as we've already seen through Mittlewerks actions. If 'LOST' is a dramatization of what actually happened, perhaps Henry and his group are the people being trained by Mittlewerk in the video that we are seeing.
