From Kristin:

http://www.eonline.com/Gossip/Kristin/Trans/Archive2006/060807c.html

From dwb: What do you mean you know what happens at the beginning of next season? Dish!
I do know how the season premiere starts off and can tell you that I don't want to overhype it in any way, but it gives me chills just hearing about it! Obviously, I can't ruin it for you or I'll be locked up as soon as I land in Honolulu and ridiculed for even thinking I could get close to the set, but here's what I can tease for you: (1) There is angle that is reminiscent of something seen on Desperate Housewives (okay, that makes it sound really scary, but I promise, it's not), and (2) we see Jack, Kate and Sawyer right away, but not in the same place. (~ Special thanks to our new member hayser for posting this originally. I thought it deserved its own thread. Great first post! :))

Okay, DH fans: Please help us decode Kristin's cryptic spoiler. Sounds interesting (which is unusual coming from Kristin).

I immediately thought suicide. Either that or the others have a mechanical bull at their hideout.

"Gives me chills"
and there was another spoiler that quoted "Tom" "I can assure we will be wearing shoes the next time you see us"

I am thinking a very icy scene.

Possible DH scenarios

Suicide
Someone locked in a basement

Finding a body

Finding a "real" father

Sex with the teenage gardner (nah, probably not)

a kidnapped child

Run over mother in law with car (same gray car?)

to be continued

What about being chained up in a basement or being hiddden away for something someone else thought you did. It turned out that the boy who was accused of the murder and was chained in the basement didn't do it, his brother did. That was a big plotline last year.

She says we see Kate Sawyer and Jack right away but in a different place.

Another theory from the E boards

posted bylgeneva

My best guess is that it will have something to do with James Denton's girlfriend/baby momma giving birth, being killed, and having the grandfather searching for the granchild. I was thinking it might tie in a bit with the Dad (Caleb from OC)and his daughter who was in love with Desmond. Maybe they had a child and Desmond doesn't know about it? In LOST they reference "the children" a lot. Maybe this will have something to do with it?????

She says we see Kate Sawyer and Jack right away but in a different place.maybe I read the hint wrong but I initially took that to mean that they are not all together anymore... I thought we were told that season 3 begins immediately after season 2 ended (just like the season 2 premier began just as season one ended, there was no elapsed time) so I am doubting that they are automatically seen in the "Others" hideout, or lair or whatever they live in. I assume they will all still be on the dock.

Most likely the DHARMA barracks...

Me thinks that the part of the island the others live is not far from the base of the two men who called Penny. I think there are diffrent weather climates on diffrent parts of the island....... or they take them to a completely diffrent island.

If you have seen DH, then what about this take- It is third person narrative from J/K/S (whichever one), talking about what has happened during hiatus. As in, what has happened in the last, say, 3 days or so?!?
Also, watch out for Kristin. She ain't the most reliable fish in the sea. Cute, but be wary!

I read somewhere that Jack would be chained up in the Other's hideout while talking to one of the new characters, Juliet in the first episode of season 3. That has to be the "Desperate Housewives" angle they're talking about.

turns out Juliet is also Jacks sister.

Remember Christian visiting the woman?

Quoted by pringlefc:

Quoted by me:
Don't cry for Doctor Jack Shepard, Lost fans. Sure, he's been captured by hostile Others, bound and gagged and traded away like a Barry Bonds baseball card by Michael. That's the bad news. The good news is: There's an excellent chance of hot, transgressive Othersex on the horizon. Elizabeth Mitchell, lately of E.R. and the Santa Clause franchise, is joining the cast of Lost. She'll play "Juliet," a possible love interest for Jack. And where is Jack? With The Others. So what is Juliet? The Other woman, baby!

Either ewwwwww, or something is awry :scratchch ....

Ummm...maybe Sawyer and Jack end up in a pool together and make out?

In DH there is the story about the one boy (strange kid) who's biological mother (Deedra) and biological father (Mike) are at a difficult point in their lives. Deedra's son is kidnapped and taken away to be raised by these two people on Whysteria Lane.

Maybe it's something similar. Either with how Sawyer was raised or maybe Kate was in a bad situation and had to give up her child for adoption or it was forceably removed from her.

THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING FOR A WEEK!!!

It sure would up the ante on Boone and Shannon .... What are the ABC Execs thinking ...

"No no no .... step-sibling sex isn't dangerous enough, we need half-sibling sex!!!"

Next thing you know, Charlie's brother will show up on the island and him and Charlie will ... you know ... because that's next on the list after the half-sibling sex....

Maybe "not in the same place" is not a reference to where they are in proximity to one another but just a reference that they are no longer on the dock (ie otherville)
That's exactly what I was thinking when I read that, lurkeeloo. On a side note, figures I'd pick the wrong season to stop watching DH. *shakes head* I kept up with it partially, and I recognize all of the ideas mentioned already, and of them all, the missing/stolen child and murdered/hidden mother idea seems to be very plausible in relation to LOST. All we need is a swimming pool and a body in a toy chest and we're set. ;)

Maybe "not in the same place" is not a reference to where they are in proximity to one another but just a reference that they are no longer on the dock (ie otherville) - that sounds like some $hit Kristin would pull - her spoilers are half right when taken in/out of context. I took that for granted. Can't wait.

Spill the dish, DH fans!

ETA: Oh my, Bri. Really? You know about this? ;)

My guess is that they find the body of Jack's dad at the others barracks because a couple of months ago they said in a bunch of spoilers that Christian Shepard is in the hands of the others.

Wow, I missed that.

Who said it, Cuse and Lindelof?

A narrator angle? That could be sort of cool. Maybe a voice for the island in the island flashbacks? That would make perfect sense, really.

Just read the full Kristin spoiler, and in her first post, just prior to dishing on Lost, she made some cryptic remark about a major character in some show spending time in a cage. If I had to guess, I would say it might be Jack, based upon other rumors out there.

I cant remember exactly who it came from but it was in a huge list of spoilers. It also had stuff about like the Others' not being as bad as we thought they were. I think they released it after episode 11 when we got to see a better picture of the others.

It may also be Libby naratting it from now on.. explaining a bit of her back story along the way..:rolleyez:

Thanks for the lovely welcome Hurley for President. I have to be honest. I have been lurking here for a year and I joined a few months ago so I thought it was about time I said a few words lol. Unfortunately I have no more spoilers except:

http://www.thefuselage.com/Threaded/showthread.php?t=55888

For anyone who doesn't know (although I'm guessing thats very few of you), thefuselage.com is a site that JJ Abrams set up for the cast & crew of Lost to answer fan questions. Gregg Nations (Script Coordinator), Terry O Quinn (Locke) & Jorge Garcia (Hurley) are the three who answer the questions the most so I just thought I'd ask a couple of questions that have not been asked yet although he was very vague. But that is part of his job I suppose. What can I say I'm addicted to spoilers lol.

The cage scenario sounds like the most likely so far (at least to me) since it's been hinted at in other spoilers.

I think that we will definatly find that Michael is not walts biological father.

As a good twist we could find out that Arzt was his dad!

if michael wasn't walt's biological father why did his mother go through so much trouble with the legal adoption stuff? surely she of all people would know. and with her being dead and the two of them sailing into the sunset it'd be mighty hard for them to reveal that.

i think michael will only be used as a future tool if ratings get really dire about the outside world trying to access the island, a la penny's crew.

LostVoyeur

OK here is my take....

agree on the child/fake parents angle.

Walt's "mom" kidnapped him to Austalia (Dead lady on DH). Michael only got involved because her new hubby sent for him after her death, with no knowledge of the kidnapping. Now since Walt is "special" and mom not knowing this, Hanso/Dharma gets wind of this and contacts the real grandma/sister (rose) to follow Michael and gather information. On DH the kid runs away, Lost he gets kidnapped. The fake dad gets him back while the real dad (Mike) tries to figure out how to get him back. Starting to get the tie in ? Now I understand that as in all dramas and soap operas you can intermingle all aspects and change them to fit any situation.

But, I personally believe the rose/walt connectin whether grandma/aunt.
