ABC is finally airing promos... more than one, apparently.
This is the one that was shown at Comic Con, but a different one has already aired today as well.

Sorry, that's the only one I've seen so far. A description of a different one seen this afternoon has been posted elsewhere... lots of quick clips of S2 in it, lingering on the captives and Fenry a bit. I'm sure it will turn up somewhere online very soon.
BTW, your screen name is absolutely brilliant! I can't believe that hadn't already been snapped up by someone. Welcome to the board! :D

So I suppose if you have a few brain cells to kill you could set the VCR, TIVO or turn them on because apparently they always show Lost promos thoughout the afternoon all season.

Thanks for posting the promo, Dezdemona. Good thing too, cuz I seriously don't have enough brain cells to waste watching (daytime) TV to see if I could catch it.
If the amount of screen time in the promo relates to the amount of screen time in the show itself, looks like wonder doc is still going to be sucking up most of it.

He listens to his self pity, and fear of failure, and is therefore unable to hear anything else. It is not science that blocks him from seeing a broader picture, but his own narrow mindedness.

Hey guys, I was at the doing some shopping at a store, when I saw that the lastest issue of TVGuide had a DVD with season 3 promos. Unfortunetly I couldnt buy it, but if any one gets the chance to buy it, please do so....

Maybe we will see him and walt sometime during season 3 afterall. I am thinking the jumping the shark moment might be michael and walt returning with penelope at the end of episode 6 now.

there is too much hate and assumption being passed around on this website. i've been a lurker for a long time and i say this because it is a fact.
jack actually asked for "some time off" so he could work on another movie for the entire while until the 13 week hiatus is over with. it's not like he's lazy. but yeah, good call on the "loser" remark!
next time, think for a second that maybe there is a reason why an actor would do this when there's a 13 week break coming up.

When I saw Michael I thought of two other possibilities. He could be "rescued" (as in returned to the island) to be seen as a principle character later, or is it possible that the TPTB are faking us out? I was under the impression that his fate would be left dangling until season 4. :confused:

purely speculation but the two points I take from the promo's are
1. Jack saying "who will I be" (I think this is major foreshadowing)
2. in the "65 days ago" promo they specifically show the "look" between Jack and Kate as the announcer says "rely on each other" (also foreshadowing i believe to a plan)
what ya think?

Moreover, just because the show won't be airing for a few months doesn't mean the production will be on hiatus for that long. They have to keep shooting at the same pace as last year in order to finish making all their episodes by May.

when i spoke of hate and assumption, i didn't neccesarily mean towards jack. i'm no big jack fan, so that's not why i made a post. it's just that people here tend to be make assumptions and be very hateful and negative.

speaking of which, i don't remember where i read it. i looked at thetailsection.com because this website and that website are the only two lost websites i visit. it may have been a link to somewhere though. maybe spoilerfix? i don't need people to believe me, whether or not jack is shooting a movie or not is irrelevant, my point was just that people shouldn't be so quick to just assume something. like i said, he wouldn't just ask for time off for nothing. i'm pretty sure jack-o's work ethics surpass those of the majority of us.

All that time creates a certain familiarity with the characters and the actors who portray them. We feel like we know them, even though we know we don't really know them.
While that familiarity is a compliment to the actors and their work, it also begets an irreverence to the actors as people. They're like friends we've never met. Now, I wouldn't insult a total stranger but I will crack on my friends.
It's a lot like celebrity roasts. They only roast the ones they love. So, when you see comments like, Mathew Fox is a prima donna, Charlie needs to be beat with a Jesus stick or Locke is a blithering idiot, it's all out of love.
Of course, none of this applies to Michelle Rodriquez. ;)

There's probably a difference in what people may have considered and what they ended up posting. Also, is the part of your quoted post that I bolded based on a fact or an assumption on your part as to the work ethic of MF?
Noav is right alot of the ribbing to the actors here is not done with a mean spirit (and he's absolutely right in regards to Michelle:D ). Most posters here are very nice.:Hippy:

I agree - if you follow along with what is being said in the other Spoiler threads here - Jack decides to be "someone else". He has always seemed reluctant to be the leader. And we all know that he was an very ineffective leader. Now - by remaining with the Others - he doesn't have to lead at all.

I hope this is the right thread to post this in, but has anyone noticed that in the 4th promo clip, 38 seconds in, there is a snippet of Sawyer in what looks suspiciously like an observation tower such as you might get at an airport. At the same time on the soundtrack there is the noise of a plane going by.
