Question about Penny scene when she answers the phone

With no new episodes running, I've been going back over the DVDs from the past two seasons. If this has been discussed, I apologize, but did anyone hear the "hatch beep" right before the phone rings in the scene when Penny is called by the two Arctic "explorers"?

And if so, does anyone have any theories?

Well if you insist. In Hurley's 'Dave' flashback, the first sceen in the mental ward when he is getting his picture taken, one can see Penny standing in a corner. I'll let you do the math. :shhh:

My sources indicate that Penny is in a Hatch too, and
her story will be told in an episode called "Hatch Penny, Too Penny".

My inside informant has told me that she's being held for ransom by the Others. Patchy uses Smokey to collect from Desmond in the upcoming episode "Penny For Your Thoughts".

In the follow up episode, Desmond ends up rescuing her but then they have a falling out with one another.

In my opinion, Penne goes a lot easier if you put a little olive oil in the boiling water. That way she doesn't get as mushy.
