View Full Version : What Does Claire Know?
What does Claire really know? Does Claire actually know more than she's lead on?
In Season 1, Episode 14 - Special, towards the tail end of the episode, we see Charlie reading Claire's diary. Along with the text on the page, you can clearly make out either text on the flip side of the page or writing that has been imprinted into the page, along with two arrows.

Does Claire know about 325? What does the imprinted text actually say?

The arrows could be anything. I did notice they are pointing to the words That's and Scary , that's scary.

I think of claire as a really hot female version of Forrest Gump.

So maybe Charlie will get his legs blown off?
And Claire will get it on with a hot blonde named Jenny.
Giggity.

The arrows don't really appear to be pointing to anything.

Pardon my ignorance, but what's "325"?

The direction given to Michael and Walt to get off the island.

When you view them on the side of the paper they were written on they don't point in the right direction.

For one thing,
Because,
http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p272/WadesDad/Spawn-1.jpg http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p272/WadesDad/Spawn.jpg
like, as if, she's still alive and free from captivity, but nobody'll be getting a
Claire Action Figure under the tree this XMas!
But seriously, I like the photo, Them. Good "CSI Lost" work with the reverse intaglio letters, Found in the Land of Lost. If Claire wrote "I realized I really like Charlie... there's something about him that's so adorable and sweet," it makes sense she'd press down really hard writing the real deal on the flip side... (Just kidding. That front-side text was probably a distorted havid thing, anyway — or else Smokey wrote it.)
Speaking of...
...I'm still wondering about those two "dreams" Claire experienced in
E110 (http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p272/WadesDad/E110ClariesDream2_16a.jpg), Raised By Another. Remember? The one with the airplane mobile
and bloodied hands in normal speed that began the show? And the
super-slo-mo' 2-second one at about 14:08–10? These 'grabs [sic] are
from the latter =>

Maybe those creepy-squeaky sounds are in Smokey's repertoire...
Anyway, I sure hope Claire knows more than she's let on...
Btw, are we in a time warp? Or is it just :vomit: Hiatus Fever?

Yeah, melostmo, I think Sayid had a complete set of spawn.com's Lost Action Figures air-dropped so he can practice what he's read about sticking it to Voodoo dolls. Hiatus makes torturers itchy.
We have to ask Charlie what Claire knows because he read her diary, and there's absolutely no other point in keeping him on the show.

Say Hey! TASR —

It does often seem as if "there's absolutely no other point in keeping him on the show..." ....... =>
which is perhaps as good an indication as any that Charlie has heretofore-untapped potential that The :ghost2: Makers intend to use to HOODWINK :rolleyes4 us!
One wonders what esteemed participant Suil Liath intends by his/her signatory blurb, "I Don't Write the Show. If I did, Charlie would have more lines" — perhaps some of us know more than we're telling...?

OK, assuming this is not just scribbles to make the page look authentic... why would Claire put a big arrow pointing to the word "there"? If she's trying to emphasize that word, it seems a strange way to do it, when underlining it would be faster and clearer. I think this is just scribbles.

An interesting find
Let me add I went through that episodes transcripts and no where during the episode does he ever read any of that page or the flip side in question. So here is the question Why write the flip side if you are only going to show the writing for the one side? And just for the heck of it; if they did write the other side just incase Charlie accidentally fliped to that page why put the arrows on the page? I mean who would take the time to draw random arrows for a fake diary for a TV show?
I think I like the idea that the arrows purposely point to that's scary
