I think that he was brought in to introduce a new redshirt so that when they introduced Ethan, it wouldn't seem quite so obvious.

i think he died...

dannielle saw the rash on claire's baby and thought he had the sickness.

No he's not dead. I met his character, Sullivan, and he confirmed for me himself he didnt die and he'll be coming back soon.

Wow Kelsaloy - that's great news! Scott Paulin is really a fine actor. I hope TPTB aren't bringing him forward just to kill him off like Arzt.

Did you happen to run into him or was he at some event?
Did he say anything about LOST in general - like maybe people all over recognize him as the rash guy? Stuff like that.....

Well I actually bumped into him as i was making my way to a buffet breakfast and he was wearing the same t-shirt he did when he was playing golf in episode 1x09. Plus he is really cool and he's been told he's one of the best actors thats played a humorous role in Lost.

He is a fine actor. I remember him from "The Right Stuff" and other shows I can't even name anymore.

but that rash was definitely weird considering danielle thought the baby had the sickness when she saw the rash....

Beside the fact that it was a common rash caused by a mixture of heatstroke and salt water? Plus that is what jack said and he's a doctor.

it's just my opinion dude...i'll probably be wrong but i just find it interesting that danielle thought a rash was the sickness and RASH GUY was asking jack about his rash.

Don't forget Jack also gave him some medicine and wouldnt it be a better story line if he did die. So there fore to get a good story line going he wouldnt of died yet, correct?

Wasn't it hives brought on by heat and stress? And the only reason it got worse was because he was a hypochondriac and obsessed over it?

One would think that if rash guy had died (from the rash, or eaten by a polar bear, or smote by the monster, or at Ethan's hands, or drowned), someone would have mentioned it by now.

I mean, regardless of how clueless our survivors seem, we have either seen or been told about the deaths that have occurred: the Marshal, Joanna, Sceve1 (the other survived, remember?), Boone and Shannon. I don't recall anyone mentioning any other deaths.
