Lost cellphone game

(Gameloft, $5.99-$7.99, out this week for carriers including Verizon, Cingular, Sprint and T-Mobile)

In between episodes of the ABC television show, fans can now get Lost on their cellphones, too. Adapted to the super-small screen with the help of the series' creators, the game features all the major characters, including Sawyer, Kate, Sayid and Hurley, but you play as Jack (Matthew Fox). "He's the problem solver and mediator," says Gameloft's Sanette Chao. After your initial response to the plane crash, you get to explore the jungle and the Hatch, and meet The Others.

Is it just me, or does it look like there's a stealth factor to it? Kind of like Metal Gear Solid? I hope that angle is also used in the console versions.

I hope it comes out for last-gen consoles, because I'm not ready to get any of the new ones. I'm crossing fingers for a PS2 release, and just a good game overall.
