Isn't Alvar Hanso's daughter supposed to be named Rachel (through the website, not the show)? Just wondering if Juliet's sister, also named Rachel, could be a connection. Did Juliet know her father?

I have Hanso-on-the-brain tonight, as I also thought the recruiter that Juliet met with was called Dr. Alvar.

For a second there i Thought you were going to say juliest sister WAS Alvar hanso,

Lawl, If Alvar hanso was Rachels father wouldn't he be Julietes father too, I do not think so somehow.

Alvar Hanso's daughter is Rachel Blake. No connection to Juliette.

I agree with Tater, but feel free to continue to speculate :)
Gonna move this to TLE T&S.

How do you know there's no connection to Juliett? We saw Juliett's last name, but that was her married last name and I don't think we were given Rachel's last name.

Yeah, we don't know what Rachel Blake looks like, nor Juliet's maiden name. Who knows, it was just a random thought anyway.

Sure we know what Rachel Blake looks like :p
She was a main character in TLE.

She was played by actress Jamie Silberhartz (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2061415/). :)

Yeah, but Alvar also looked different between the show and TLE. :D

I'll ask this question, and I suppose it's directed to those of you who participated in TLE since I didn't.

When Dr. Alpert recruited Juliet, he told her she'd be back in 6 months, in time to see her sister have the baby. Juliet says she's been on the island for over three years. That seems like it would start Rachel on a investigation.

Since it seems all of you who participated in TLE don't see any connection to the two Rachel's, could you explain why? I never participated, just read some highlights, so pardon me if it sounds like a stupid question.

Not a stupid question! :)

The reason I don't buy the two being the same is a matter of age. The scenes with Rachel in S3E7 were in 2001; TLE took place in 2006. On her first public blog entry (from Copenhagen (http://www.losttv-forum.com/forum/showpost.php?p=743978&postcount=12)), Rachel Blake identified herself as 24. That would make her 19 in 2001, and Rachel on the show did not look 19.
