Speaking of "Lost suicide", I think this boards' moderators need to take a look at the amount of messages posted after each episode this season. They started out with over a 1000 comments after the first episode and have steadily declined....just over 400 something after Everyone Hates Hugo.
So basically they are holding their insightful recaps and theories "hostage" until we fork over the dough. "Seven dollars, or you'll never see the board again!!"
Then again, maybe we are part of THEIR little experiment to see who will "push the button/pay the money".
Big Woo.
I'm going to another board.
This sucks; I only got to post twice :-(

Stop your whining already. It's not the mods doing anything. Ez is the calling the shots on the money. If this board just lets everybody post without a membership then there is no way that this board can afford to stay up.

"It's not the mods doing anything. Ez is the calling the shots on the money."

Not true, otherwise the GD area would have always been blocked. Also, go see for yourself in the episode threads posted for season 2, particulary "Everyone Hates Hugo" thread. Many posters thank the mods for blocking the boards so that they don't have 1000 messages to sift through.....and I actually understand where they are coming from when put in that context. I don't have all night to read page after page of newbies posting. My issue is this: Why can't we at least READ the posts??? Surely, reading the posts isn't costing the moderators or ezboard anything.
I'm just as excited about the developments of the story as anyone else, and although I can't post, I would still like to see if anyone else is on the same wavelength as I am, or to be enlightened on something that I haven't even thought of before. No show has EVER captured my imagination like Lost has, and I was truly enjoying all of the speculation and I miss being a part of it. Reading week-old posts is just sad, lol.
Anyway, I will find another board that I can participate in, but I will always check back in here, too, just a week later.
Sigh:-(

Actually reading the pages does cost money. Again this is an ez issue.

i just signed up for the board tonight, and it was free. perhaps because i chose EZ Board's "local" registration (Lost only) instead of global, or i'm missing something here (like i'll be cut-off from posting or access soon). well, if it *does* end up costing money, i as well as others i'm sure, will just move to a different *free* board.

Unfortunately, this thread was started in the wrong forum and may not have gotten the responses it deserved. Moving to "Guys, where are we?" to give it a chance at new life. :)
